Being conservative at the end of the game drove me nuts. Typical Les.

The fact that LSU lost this game is disgusting.

Was my senior year and the best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced in TS.

I physically hurt until the following Wednesday after that game. That was the most tailgating/drinking/yelling/clapping/etc I could possibly do for one day. Sucked at the end, but looking back that was an incredible experience.

I remember the Alabama band performing at halftime and the stadium with a collective boooo the whole time.

Was at this game. The silence in the stadium when Yeldon scored...was gut wrenching. Only to be followed up by an equally gut wrenching loss 2 years later.

We had like 20 something players out by that game not to mention players that left early for the draft and Les still kept it competitive. Beat some good teams that year in Tamu with Manziel and South Carolina.

Rewatching 2012 LSU vs Alabama

Why????

That may have the most gut wrenching loss in my lifetime.

I felt so much worse after that one that I did after 21-0

Saban told the reporter at midfield after the game that LSU dominated Alabama that night.

We're in Atlanta and maybe the the national championship had we won that game. Sort of like the 1969 loss to Ole Miss; a couple of plays go differently in a close game and oh what could have been.

But seriously the only three thingsI could recall from that game was the jc Copeland catch run, the yeldon catch, and that we should have won. So I wanted to see rewatch and see if my memory of the game held up to what actually happened. Conclusions are yeah we should have won. Why les did not kick those field goals in the first half was baffling. Defense played really well the whole game minus the final bama possession. Should not of mattered though. LSU should have won 23-21 or 26-21.

2010 vs Bama was my favorite. Tiger Stadium. Underdogs. Kelvin Sheppard talking up the team before the game. Those boys were hungry and ready to kill.

Kelvin Sheppard and drake Nevis make the game ending play by taking down McElroy forcing a fumble. It was the perfect game for me. Personally enjoyed it more than 2019.

2010 also included that nifty fake punt by Josh Jasper.

Makes me smile every time I think about it.
