His 40s compared to Pierre Thomas' 40s are equal according to nfldraftscout.com. Plus, Ridley is at least an inch taller and 15-20lbs heavier coming out, assuming he does this year. Care to comment on that?

Yes....sure not a starter. Too slow. He's also not a first round pick. I think he should come back and work on his speed and try to improve his draft status.

But Pierre Thomas is. And the saints are suffering without him.

No one has said that. I think he'll be a 3-5th rd pick, and be looked at as a steal after 2 years in the league, but that's just my opinion.

Rule of Thumb: If a kid is a first round pick, declare early. If not, stay in school and try to improve draft status.

Saban's advice to any player. Good advice, IMO.

ETA: Also, how did he have a bad game aganst UNC? He ran well that game outside of the fumbles, but he corrected those problems.

I hope he comes back too. But that doesn't affect where he goes this year.

You're right. Ridley ran over 1000 yards while PT only ran for 664. Ridley is bigger and they are equal in 40 times. What else am I missing?

Reading comprehension is a good skill. Read his post again. It's pointing out FACTS that SR has measurables as good or better than Pierre when he was drafted. Many of these posters have opinions about Ridly's skill set that are just stupid wrong.

That LE is omnipotent...a supreme being that has no need for facts not of his own creation...that's all you missed.

So, from those measurables, you're conceding that Ridley is better?

Just going by what nfldraftscout.com has, which has been pretty accurate for the other backs that I have seen.

Are you that dense? You opined at the start of this thread that Ridley wasn't NFL material. You've waffled since. That post is informing your dumb arse that Pierre, a very talented and successful NFL back, didn't bring to the table what SR has.Damn...you're like reasoning with a stump.

pierre thomas wasnt drafted.

We are arguing over whether or not he will play a major role on an NFL team or be a situational player.

nope.

you are the one telling me they are comparable yet everything you are comparing doesn't match up

Pierre Thomas is top 5 in the NFL in terms of balance. He is a stronger runner than RIdley. Better pass catcher.

No, it doesn't match up to your stupid arse opinions. I, unlike you, am capable of coherent, logical thought.

No.

What are you're resources regarding 40 times? Don't say he got ran down by a D1 interior lineman, because that's when the edge was already taken. This argument is utter bullshite. Please bring something to the damn table.

Only 'Rag in this thread has said Ridley is not NFL material. Some people are just stupid blind in their loyalty. They read things that are not written.
