OU/UT is contractually obligated to occur in the Cotton Bowl on the second Saturday in October. So that leaves both in the mix for rivalry week.

Would be awesome if we got Florida but we’ll never replace Florida State as their rival. The more I think about it, Texas and A&M will play rivalry week and we’ll go back to Arky.

Isn't this the same as Alabama/Tennessee being "The Third Saturday In October" so it's not really that big a deal? I imagine UT/A&M renew their final game rivalry and LSU gets Arkansas again

I think if you asked a Florida fan what their most important game of the year is they’d say Georgia. If you asked who their rival is they’d say Florida State. My Gator friend to this day cannot say “Jameis Winston” without adding adjectives “rapist” or “crab-stealer” in front and he is a grown man, CFO of a publicly-traded company ha ha. The FSU hate is in their DNA.
Further, I live in Atlanta and if you ask a Dawg same question they’d say most important game is Florida but Auburn is their “rival”.
