If our president thinks he is going to run the football program, he is sadly mistaken.

If he is going to make that move, the current political climate would support it.
I think the hire will be Franklin

Why? This has been added to the conversation all over the country in any and every decision being made so it’s gotta be talked about.

James Franklin is black, and he has the proper experience and credentials. LSU fans would accept and support him.He is not going to leave Penn State. Eric Bienemy has never been a head coach. He had a lot of trouble at Colorado, but those troubles seem to be in his past. I am not buying, and it's not because he is black. He does not have the needed background.

Leftwich is an excellent coach

Dennis Franklin is black

His liability is not in being black. It's in his never running a program whose lifeblood is determined by successfully recruiting.

Dude is really innovative, I like him, I played ball and I can see he has a really good offensive mind. He has KC humming offensively. Would have loved to have him as LSU's OC, but I know he would never leave the NFL for the same gig in college.

Comments and racial tones do not lie. Just read the comments about the school’s President.
People talk crap about the school president because he’s a raging liberal not because he’s black. A black coach would be fine here as long as he won. Winning solves everything

Andy Reid is the OC, not Bienemy.

Bienemy is apparently a huge a-hole, which is part of why he’s continuously passed over.

I like him. He'd be great for the program. I hope he gets an offer. I worry though about how he will be treated by the racist couyons that inhabit the LSU fan base. Just read some of these replies...

Let's just become all Southern or Jackson State....that apparently is where we are headed. Sickening

Burrow said we should give O a lifetime contract….. let that sink in

He also thought Max was better than Myles
Posted on 10/10/21 at 2:23 pm to tucoco
another example of a superior qb making a coach look way better than he really is. You would think people would have learned that lesson from the Hallman hire....but nope...some are all for it again, with the black factor as a bonus.
Posted on 10/10/21 at 2:27 pm to ApexTiger
He would be a home run hire for the offense and recruiting I think and if he got a great DC he could do well here. But he is an NFL guy who will become an NFL head coach soon enough.
Posted on 10/10/21 at 2:28 pm to ApexTiger
He is not from New Orleans. He is from West Covina CA.
