Miles is starting to make some nice moves
KW needs the rock all year, clearly he is the man right now, most big game potential
let CS block and get carries, and screen passes as well... This gives us a better backfield with both on the field at the same time

When Scott is in the game, everyone from the opposing defense to the fella selling corn dogs in the stands know where the run is going, right up the centers ad=ze. With the offensive line play, that hole (pardon the pun) hasn't been open to date.
Haha yea, Scott has no ability to bounce it outside.... LINK
You're an idiot. We have 2 beasts at running back yet every year yall can only praise one. Are you all really unable to cheer for more than one player at each position?

I thought this move was inevitable watching Dugas really not play well at all.

Chuck scott aint seen holes like that so far. Also, look at Quinn Johnson in that video to see how much he is missed.

I agree, but that's why I hope Allen burns his redshirt and steps up because he has the potential to be just as good as Quinn

wouldn't mind seeing some Dwyer plays for Scott at FB..better than that LaFell to the option crap they ran something like 5 times!

I think you are misinterpreting Miles' statements. The article sort of makes it seem that way, though.
Here, he's talking about personnel and formations. He is basically saying we will go with one running back formations this year, not that we will only have one main running back.
My read on that quote isn't that Scott will play MORE fullback, but that he will keep doing what he's been doing.
This quote clearly debunks the "one back" thesis presented by the OP.

This team needs Charles to play at fullback with the ability he's got. That will happen the rest of the season.

Yes. I believe if this move is made it's more due to the fact that the "real" FB's have not played well. Scott is a veteran and should be able to bring some solid stability to FB.
However, like another poster said, don't be surprised if he starts at RB. I think this is more of a strategic move to help the team along.
Keiland has played good this year but it's only been two games. I wouldn't put him down in stone as the starter yet. Don't forget Scott had a real good season last year.

Honestly I was wondering how much more the coaches could take of Dugas just barreling into the back of our OL every single time he was blocking. No point in having a FB out there if he just takes out our OL

I guess allen just isn't quite ready yet

It doesn't matter who they put back there is the offensive line can't open holes these guys go nowhere. Remember the Spring Game? Charles Scott looked like a Heisman caliper back. So far very far below average. Its not his fault the o line plays just like their coach without heart or passion.

I like having your two best backs in the backfield. That's how I do it in ncaa 10.
