I think being in the I-formation with CS at FB and KW at RB gives us the advantage of flexibility and disguise. With the one back set, we are more predictable. With CS in, look for a run up the middle. With KW in, look for a run outside. With both in, you can still run KW outside, but also hand off to CS for a quick hitter up the middle. Plus it keeps a back or two in to protect JJ until the OL gels a little better.

He is basically saying we will go with one running back formations this year, not that we will only have one main running back.
Exactly what I was thinking. It sounds like we won't be running a ton of I-formation for the rest of the year. But, when we do, expect it to be with Scott and Keiland.
I still expect us to run Scott up the middle for no yards plenty. But, I expect an extra tight end, or bringing Lafell in motion to help block. It just looks like we don't have a FB at all right now, besides Scott.

I think he needs to play both. They need more of him and KW on the field at the same time. the more playmakers on the field, the better.

look at Quinn Johnson in that video to see how much he is missed.
FB's don't get much glory, but if you've got a good one, life just gets easier.
Quinn Johnson was a great one.

yea dugas is pretty shitty. Maybe quinn just spoiled us, but dude isn't getting the job done
I remember during camp Sonny was shooting some film of the RBs going through dummy drills and he edited out Dugas....I knew then something wasn't right.

I don't care what you hear from Miles' presser, I think we will be seeing this formation a lot more when we play Florida, Bama, Ole Miss, etc...
Les loves to run that clock and I think Crowton likes the options he would have with those 2 running screens and/or blocking if we were to pass out of the I.

I agree, but that's why I hope Allen burns his redshirt and steps up because he has the potential to be just as good as Quinn
allen has to lose a lot of weight. that guy just looks fat on the sidelines.

It is a shame that we have had to see five wide, flooding the field with 5 yard routes, more than we have seen the CS-KW package.

Dugas at FB = horrible percentages for tailback's ypc being worth a flip.

if you listened to the PC, Miles didnt say it this way at all. Just that we need Scott to play FB some more.
I'm impressed Maximus. Not only are you not making shite up this week, you are actually correcting others when they manipulate the truth.

Good. He's 240 lbs. Throw him a pass. If he catches it we become a much more dangerous offense.
CS at FB with Keiland/Trindon at TB = Heath Evans at FB with Cadillac/Ronnie Brown at TB.

You would think that Stampley or Allen would at least prove to be adequate at the FB position.
I don't completely agree with this. Okay, I totally disagree with this.

Don't believe what Miles says, lets see what he will do. I don't think we will see much difference than the first 2 games... KW and CS equal carrries, JJ 1/2 has many, TH and RS a sprinkling to a few. 70 offensive plays ... 35 run ... CS and KW 12-13 each, JJ 5-6... TH or RS 2-3 and there's not many left over. KW and CS will want the work. I think Porter has more to say about what back is in there than Miles. The point is that you can trust Miles will not do what he says. Also I believe he will jerk the lease of his running back very quickly if one fumbles and the coach is in a bad mood.
