if the points are that important to him and he wants this resolved he will find time to do go to the ticket office.

All you had to do was look at your points and send an email saying, "Hey, I went to that game." And something tells me that if the deadline was missed by a few days, they'd be a lot more willing to listen than 8 months later.

I'm sorry, I don't really have sympathy for people who miss deadlines. Ever think that they made the deadline when it was so they could take care of student priority points immediately and not when they're trying to do season ticket upgrades and packaging, student ticket requests, and basketball renewals?

I agree with the points you made, and I hate having to repeat myself, but I don't recall ever receiving the email. I searched my account and couldn't find it. This isn't a well know policy at all. There's never been an early deadline in the past

And I didn't mean to be such a dick about it. The email was sent, I found mine. I just wouldn't expect them to do anything about it at this point.

Holy shite. I didn't realize that. That really must suck not to be able to speak to them in person. Sorry to hear about the crapola for you but it'll work itself out either way.

I found it. They sent it a whole week before the deadline. Don't see how you missed it...

well shite... I normally get a ton of emails a day so I probably saw it was from the ticket office and just deleted it considering their emails are always about promotions and nothing too urgent

I spent four years on the campus, and 3 in the dorm rooms. I have received many emails sent to me in error by the student office, Residential office, etc etc... There is a good chance they screwed up and not sent everyone the email. If they were having trouble getting the priority points right, why is it hard to believe they might mess up something else. Doesn't mean they did, but they have done it before. I got a email once a couple days before a game saying you still haven't picked up your tickets yet when they forgot/screwed up emailing me saying I got the tickets. The nice lady at the Office told me sometimes their emailing system messes up.

That being said, LSU student office can care less about one person :( Unless their is lots of yelling going on, I am afraid you are out of luck. They will be more worried about the 90,000+ tickets as a whole than 1 person complaining.

Just be thankful you're still a college student. I'd give anything to turn back time.

I think they should scan students after the game is over.then if you stayed for whole game you get points.
i seen students walk into a gymnastic meet and get card scanned then turn around and leave.

Yes. I agree with this. Or scan it on the way out to determine how many points you get based on the length you stayed. If it does not get scanned out, then it become null and void for the event.

162 would no doubt guarantee them to me

youre right...I forgot we had 1 less home game last year than the 08 season so it requires 20 less points than last year to get everything for away games this year

send emails to all the athletic important people. I did this when the LSU game was moved to arizona state. At first, I was told we students would have to buy new tickets from arizona state...and the game was still counting as a home game for us. I emailed everybody including the advocate. I may or may not have influenced the outcome: our tickets were still good and we didnt have to do anything at all more than show up in arizona.
