Each team starts off with 5 points each. You can only use 1 + and 1 - per vote.

Didn't we just do this a couple of weeks ago on the SEC board?

I'll give you a hint:

Mississippi State and Vandy run away with this thing. Alabama gets eliminated early, along with Auburn, Florida and Ole Miss. Tennessee, Arkansas and Georgia are in the next tier, with UK being the first of the bottom tier to be knocked out.

That leaves MSU, Vandy and USC, with USC being behind the other two. After a while, the tendency becomes to vote down whoever is close to elimination just to get them eliminated. I don't know who wins between Vandy and MSU because I quit paying attention to it before either one was close to elimination.

In the other one we did, LSU was in the contest, but voters could not vote for or against their own team, so our visitors from Auburn and Alabama voted us out right after they went down.

Yeah, that's been covered. I'd imagine there are a few more hits on the Rant than the SEC board. I didn't know it was on that board so It's gotten a few responses here so far, so we'll see where it goes.

Oh well, it'll be interesting to see if we get the same result.

Yeah, I started it on the SEC Rant a few weeks ago, but it might be fun to do on the Tiger Rant. And, yes, Bama was out first, and MSU beat Vandy in the Finals. We had a rule that, since this has a majority LSU fanbase, you couldn't vote for your favorite team.
