One foot to the right and a good slide and breaux is safe
Dude, he was out by 5 steps, but that's not even what I responded to. You said there's a 50% chance of a bad throw, which is why you send the runner. That's not even close to being accurate.

I actually think Breaux had a terrible jump

Ok so i pulled a random number out of my head. Whats your percentage since you are so confident?

Just watched the video. He was out by two steps.

I already gave it to you. From that position I'd guess he puts it inside the barrel 5/10. The chances of a "bad" throw are less than 10%.
Like I said, that wasn't some high school scrub making the throw. He's apparently one of the better center fielders in the country.

He got a much better secondary/jump than I thought. The CF must have been playing really shallow

The problem with Breaux getting thrown out was that it should have never come to that. Freeman failed to put the ball in play. If he would have hit the ball to the right side of the infield and advanced Breaux to third, then Breaux would have scored easily on the Duplantis hit. This teamed is doomed if they cannot hit with RISP and do the situational hitting required to manufacture runs.

Yeah, two steps before his attempt to recreate the scene from Major League 2.
ETA: He wasn't even into the home plate area when the ball got to the catcher. That means he was 12-13 feet away.

You never make the last out at home plate, especially when you're down. That's baseball 101.
Never make any outs, anywhere, anytime, especially when you're down. That's ranter 101.

Ive always hated that saying. LOL.
It should probably be -You shouldnt be the last out at any base when you are down.

That's the reason so many people watch SEC college baseball because of the passion of the players.
But if PM does not move Coach Cain out of third base box I may go back to watching MLB as its unfair to the hard playing Tigers.

Wow. We actually have one intelligent ranter. Not a troll

I'm surprised CPM didn't argue the first one - it was bang-bang and Freeman might have been safe.
