Mett was an average SEC QB. He personally lost two games (Clemson and Ole Miss) and when he had the chance to beat Georgia in the last two minutes he couldn’t even pick up a first down.

For all the les miles years, we took the air out the ball. all we did was run. those games went by so fast. not enough time in the game to throw for 300.

Miles lost the Clemson game by refusing to give Hill carries after the half.

Mettenberger never won a game that mattered. If you look back at his stats he piled up yards against cupcakes. He’s one of the more overrated players of the last twenty years. Comparing him to Burrow in any way is laughable.
