I’ve been saying all along, be prepared for him to either quit or at the very least dog it all season
Posted on 8/19/21 at 6:37 am to lsushelly
I expect it....college football has changed so much and makes it less and less important at least to me
Posted on 8/19/21 at 6:46 am to Crumblingcountry
It’s still important to me. I love LSU football. I just decided a while back I’m not gonna lose sleep over 18-22 year old kids who don’t care as much as I do.

I still enjoy it...I just see down the road the potential for all the bs to finally ruin it for me, just like the Saints. That's just me though.

If it lingers too much he could quit again to prepare for draft. I feel like he is always hurt.
Posted on 8/19/21 at 8:38 am to GoldenBoy
Yes he was hurt almost all last season. What gives, freshman year he was fine?

I get that he doesn’t really need practice, but any concern of a lingering injury?
Yes.
And precisely why he shouldnt play offense.

Well, Ed also said “we are so much better now on defense (in 2020) than any point last year”, so maybe what he says and what is real life ain’t always in concert.

Yep.. and if he's gonna be banged up all year the playing on offense/special teams BS needs to go

He's only not played in 3 games since he's been at LSU.

Gotta admit, it begins to look like he is either injury prone of he's dogging it and passing time until the draft.
If the latter, you gotta worry about how it impacts others on the team.
This ain't how Devin White did it...

Definitely a little concerning. He's had a banged up ankle for quite some time now.
Also, it seems like we have had a lot more 'camp injuries' this year compared to recent years

Wonder how his sponsers are going to feel when he can't play or decides to bolt to train for combine. This is the new normal.
Posted on 8/19/21 at 9:30 am to GoldenBoy
They may have asked a question such as "How much practice does he need to be ready to play?"
Posted on 8/19/21 at 9:31 am to BHS78
If the season goes south I can see some players considering their "options".
Posted on 8/19/21 at 9:34 am to White Tiger
I can see the season going south BECAUSE they considering their options
Posted on 8/19/21 at 9:38 am to lsushelly
Yes. Another reason that CFB may just fade away....

players checking out early to skate until the draft isn't new, but I think we'll see a different level of that with NIL factoring in
