Sid Edwards would do fine as a college coach. But I do believe he would is far more effective on the high school level. Secondly, that two-point conversion play only put us 15-0. Get the facts straight.

CHSvideo, Thanks for clearing that up. I thought the conversion happened early. Sid is an outstanding coach, He has made Redemptorist and now Central into very good programs. I also think that the sign of a good coach is surrounding yourself with good coaches which he does well.

to say he COULDN'T win at jesuit and menard isn't fair because he wasn't exactly there for long periods of time.

Doesn't that same attribute hold true for most successful college head coaches of today? it seems that the head coach plays the role of administrator/micromanager more than anything, as opposed to the actual x's and o's.
