Yahoo's next move (Forde, Thamel) should be to frick right off. STTDB

What if Forde and Thamel were really just huge LSU fans and kickstarted the campaign that got Alleva canned and Woody in?

So they should not have reported on the biggest story in college basketball in years it is what you are saying?

He's saying that they should have reported it in a fair and transparent manner instead of taking the material and deliberately presenting it in the worst possible way.
Kind of like how you are taking his statement and twisting it

Oh they’ll come up with something only a matter of time

It was only unfair to you because you are an LSU fan
What part was not transparent ? It was pretty cut & dry

They printed a word for word transcript from a portion of a wiretap, people were free to form their own opinion as to what the context was. How else were they supposed to present it?

Q: Do you have the complete transcript of the Wade calls?
Q: if so, will you share it with us?
Q: if you have it but will not release the full transcript, why not?

Because no one else is offering up anything meaningful:
1. The report on Will Wade was started with a snippet of a conversation, likely leaked by someone involved in the litigation. What efforts do your reporters make to confirm or deny the report, and how do your writers determine the meaning of an excerpted clip?
2. Javonte Smart was cleared, but your reporters backed their original reporting. What responsibilities do you have as a journalist to re-investigate the facts to see why a core person involved has now been cleared.
I tried to keep this as benign as possible while asking general journalistic questions. Would love to hear it.
