The excuse this time like it will be every time is that LSU doesn't have the caliber of a player that can say give me the ball and I'll go win this game. Thomas is not big enough, quick enough, nor is he a consistent scorer. Non e of LSU players are.....they are all average. Until we get a coach that can coach and recruit, we will always be average.

I was wondering why only frick and shite were not capitalized and then realized the site has a bug where it replaced your offensive words in lower case. Interesting that it didn't replace a-hole though!!

I don’t think that is realistic.
Road games are tough outs.
This isn’t women’s basketball.
I “hoped” that LSU could pull off the win. But I feel that way about tough road games in pretty much every men’s every sport.
Hell 2019 LSU struggled at Texas, and at home versus Auburn.
Last year, morons were shitting all over baseball because of a loss to Arkansas Little Rock.
Let’s see how MBB responds to the loss.
ETA - I have no problem with change in coach, but the team played pretty well yesterday.

Until the big time LSU boosters with expendable cash start upping their allotment to men’s basketball we will have the type of talent we have now. We could have John Wooden coaching the tigers and he wouldn’t make the big dance unless he had more money to invest in the program.
Recruiting does not attract top basketball players now , it’s only cash. LSU most likely wins the game if Acuff Jr doesn’t get extremely hot at the end of the game. Acuff turned down a 11 million dollar NIL deal from Alabama to stay at Arkansas. He was a top 5 recruit and #1 point guard coming out of high school.
So until the non stop whining rantards start infusing cash into the LSU basketball program or can convince their big time LSU donor friends too, a change in coaching is not going to make a difference in the trajectory of the program.

That seems to be a given that McKinnon will go cold for long stretches almost every game. LSU competed very well yesterday, but at this point a large portion of the fan base has completely given up on McMahon and his losing ways and it’s time for him to go.
