Even if App State plays well, it won't surprise me. I really like them as a football team and expect them to play hard. But I also expect a blowout, LSU is far superior.

You may be right.

And I fully expect to have many of the same LSU fans from 2005 congradulate us as we leave the stadium.

It will be a good game---- ENJOY IT TIGER FANS

It's going to be really quiet seeing 90,000 plus LSU fans file out of the stadium.

LSU hits a whole lot harder than Michigan, just ask OHIO State.

Not only will you lose to LSU, but you will lose your second game as a result of the beating from the first.

you don't have 3 returning all star players like they did

What has that have to do with anything? You have to earn that every year. People don't just say OK run over us because you were an all star last year. Michigan was average last year and they did improve late but LSU was national champions and endured mutiple injuries and played with #2 QB in the SEC championship game. Our talent showed to be the best when healthy and we will be just as strong this year. We will also be prepared.

We do not need last years all stars, we have a damned strong group of guys that know how to play and are coached by great coaches.

We will be ready for your football team and we will wear you down and win 42-17.

Armanti Edwards is more of an Athlete then your entire team.

This is getting out of control because you are sounding like an idiot now. AE is a great talent but to say he is better than our entire team...

Our players read this site and they will have an extra edge that the coaches won't bestow on them if you keep this up. Our front 7 will eat his arse up. We have talent that will come to him at all angles and he will be mauled.

We have many athletes and you have AE and a few supporting guys. We will wear you guys down...please make sensible comments

Get real. App. State will be lucky to score 10 points against LSU.

A healthy, rested LSU is a VERY scary thing on a football field.

Come gametime, I can guarantee you two things... App. State will be ready to play a ballgame... and LSU will be ready to annihilate.

App. State will not be prepared for or be able to withstand the physical beating LSU will deliver to them. The thing that makes LSU unique among teams is that it looks forward to physically beating other teams... and does it with unparalleled enthusiasm and effectiveness.

It will happen again against App. State.

My serious prediction for this game: LSU 45, App State, 3.

Spqr,

I know dude, I gave them a few extra only because our secondary may give up a long play with a mix up from a young player. I wanted to say 42 LSU 7-10 Appy But if our D is ready and the new starters are confident, this could be scary for them.

any college football fan, player, or coach knows what LSU is bringing to the table. (alot)

but, do any of you have a clue about app's team outside a replay of the michigan game?(not a good source of our typical game)

can you guys even name one other player on our team besides AE, off the top of your head?

ya'll talk about the UM game like it exposed us yet all i hear out of you guys is that we have a qb and no one else.

i dont doubt that your coaches and team will be well informed prior to kickoff but not one of you guys has shown anything except ignorance of appalachian state football.

I thought we put this thread to rest in May. F*cking Pigskin Steve had to bring this out again to try and get us riled up. Ridiculous. If you Appy people really want to talk about the likely hood of you winning, start another thread comparing your team vs. our team. Offense, Defense, Special Teams, etc. If you still think it is worth arguing about now, 47 days before the game, that your team has anything resembling a betting chance at winning, then feel free to come on here and discuss. Please do not post on some old thread that was only intended to flame. Oh, and we did not say that your whole team was AE, one of your fans said all that it would take was AE to beat us. Hopefully this is the end of this thread, once and for all.

I think the game is going to be @ 4:00 in August. I dont think the temp and humidity will be anything like they are used to.

I’d like to buy a quart jar of that happy juice you’ve been drinking. Just don’t go take a wiz because you will be mighty disappointed when you sober up.
