Not just based on the last batter. He was erratic in his placement. Looked more settled on that batter that he just popped up.

Why did people think hurd would be any better? his era was over 7 for few months last year. ended the year with an era near 6

He lost it for a minute there but he was obviously pitching around that guy on the walk. Evidenced by two really good at bats after the walk.
