I believe McElroy got this confused with the BAMA winning TD in overtime in 2014. Same corner of the end zone. Now that was truly offensive pass interference.
While you are at it take a look at the 3rd down pass to Travin Dural at the 10 yard line on LSU's possession in overtime.

It's the first segment, starts around the 2:25 mark
He was nothing but complementary of LSU, but he never said it should have been OPI. He was referencing a ND/FSU game in 2014 where BK called that play and it was called OPI, Greg thinks ND should have won that game.
I don't see any place where he said Bama should move up. You're making shite up.

I don’t hear it. And if he did say it he was being sarcastic. He couldn’t have been more complimentary to LSU in his podcast. If anything, I think he goes too far to show he’s not biased towards Bama.

McElroy said that Bama should move up in the rankings to No. 3 because, "in my mind" there was Offensive Pass Interference on the 2point conversion so Bama should have won.
