They already charge a per car fee to park most places on campus. But yeah I could see them having a “tent” fee and you have to have a hang tag or something tied to it.

This is EXACTLY correct. Same thing w beach towels covering 80% of all chairs poolside at a resort. If you’re not there by daybreak you are bound to have a confrontation w someone who put their shite across 10 lounges to roll down at 11:00 and have that be their personal spot all day long
