How did Hurd do?

5 IP and zero ERs. Couple errors at SS allowed all three runs to score.

No Cam Johnson this weekend?

He needs to work things out during weekday games still. Just not throwing enough strikes. IF this game was a little more out of hand maybe they turn to him.

the 9th inning seems to be a thorn in LSUs side lately.

Can’t get out of a 9th without at least giving up a couple runs

Coleman threw a lot in the pen yesterday, no surprised he is taxed after 40 pitches. Jay said he was next to come in behind Loer.

I'm sure they would have liked to get him some work in a blowout. But he's not repeating his delivery well enough right now. He'll figure it out and be great down the stretch. Just not sure they trust him enough in high-leverage spots quite yet. Moffett either now that they brought in Guidry. But there's plenty of time for a few guys to figure it out.

Coach is big about the reliever getting the first guy out that he faces when he comes in

Easier said than done but that is what he emphasizes

Very nice outing by Coleman.

If Primeaux gets the out there, Coleman would have pitched 2 2/3 innings of shutout ball. That's not good?

Strike zone is not a zone...but an imaginary place.
