Boy, that is a small pool if your prerequisite is a coach with a title. How many out there? 5 or 6?

Here's to hoping he brings Marcus Freeman with him.

I’m okay with the hire.. We may finally get some big offensive line players. I thought we would hire someone younger, but he will change the attitude in the locker room.. Hope we hire some young energetic coaches.

Walker Howard visited South Bend, so I'm fairly certain Jamie's son is all LSU even more so now with Brian coming to the Bayou. So there's that at least.

You guys are acting like Kelly is some crap coach. Amazing.

Especially compared to our last two wingnut coaches. He's a huge reason why Cincinnati is relevant and he's done a solid job at notre dame. I don't think it's as easy to win there as it was 10,20,30 years ago.

I'm good with it and I'm happy to have a coach to be taken seriously for a change

ND has everything handed to them in Terms of rankings then they absolutely shite the bed when playing a formidable opponent.

Hopefully at the very least, he can kill the me first mentality that has become embedded in LSU football for the past decade or so.

Kelly's Notre Dame teams have beaten LSU twice in bowl games. The Fighting Irish beat the Tigers 31-28 in the 2014 Music City Bowl and 21-17 in the 2018 Citrus Bowl.
