Les is a GREAT recruiter, there is no disputing that. The players obviously love him, so all anyone who is a fan can do is hope that he learned his leason about being so stubborn. Hopefully he will not try to institute another two QB system again and stay away from the damn option. I think we have good reason to believe that he will move more to a pro-style offense and this offense will flourish. If the offense makes great strides to go along with that lights out D, it will be a great year

The fans will get over it in 8 1/2 months. If anyone should be under scutiny its mack brown. That guy does less with more talent than anyone.

Yes we shite the bed on the 9th, but what LSU accomplished this year is remarkable. We went undefeated, reg season of course, while playing a brutal schedule. How can LSU "fans" calls Miles stupid and some ca for him to get fired when he won AP coach of the year?

Hoodoo Man- are you serious. Did you think before posting that jargon? Because LSU fans expected the team that went 13-0 to show up and play and the coaches to prepare and develop a game plan is entitled. Excellent observation! Have you considered its how LSU lost. Miles simply displayed what many already knew.
Miles is like the employee that displays at risk behavior or the driver of a vehicle that takes many risks. Everyone knows of such a person or has had a near miss as a result. The more they escape incident, the more confidence they gain and keep doing the same thing over & over. Mile is somewhat similar- Look at the two games leading up to the NCG and the first game with Bama. LSU beat Bama with a similar chicken chit plan- with the luxury of Chavis's boys. If it worked once it will work again. With Chavis's boys bailing us out two games in a row, Miles gambled and failed. Miles lost his grip on that lucky horse shoe fell from his butt cheeks. Prepare for a huge disappointment in 2012. Two loss les will return.

Ok, now I know there are 1/2 of you in this chat that don't give a shite about this record shite. But I went back and did a little research from 2005( when miles took over) till now. These are the top school in winning percentage: Boise St: 82-10 LSU: 75-18 USC: 73-17 Ohio St: 72-18 Florida 72-20 Oklahoma: 72-22 Alabama: 71-20 Texas: 71-20 2 of the top 4 are on probation. Boise st plays in a nothing conference. Guys, really? Is it all luck? So bob stoops and Mack brown aren't considered good coaches either? Just lucky

wow...just think how much better we would be if Miles wasn't our coach
Posted on 1/17/12 at 9:22 pm to cbtullis
wow, i can see what you posted.
but, for the negaturds you did it in invisible pixels.
les has built the golden era of lsu and negaturds can't help but suck saban's nuts.
they want perfection, just like their parents wanted. the negaturds are just as disappointed in miles as their parents are disappointed of them.
hate is a learned behavior. negaturds only hate b/c their parents hated them.
positigahs have to practice compassion, as i always try to do.

really do like the man most of the time, he just picked a hell of time to have a MIles moment.
This about sums it up. He does a lot of good things and has a great deal of success, but when he screws up, he's all in!

For Miles' critics, he has to be the impossible....absolutely perfect in every way....must win every game, sign every blue chip recruit, never stumble or stammer in answer to dumb questions, perfect in evaluating talent.
Not good, or even great, but perfect, infallible.
It is ridiculous. No coach is perfect, not one. They all have some flaw. Les has a lot less flaws than most and the things he is great at dwarfs those flaws. LSU is lucky to have this flawed Les Miles. I'd bet very strong that LSU's next coach, whoever it is, will see nowhere near this kind of success. It would be almost impossible to duplicate.
You morons need to be careful what you wish for.
