I think Ree said most of the bad stuff got deleted. I just didn't feel like clicking on the links inside to link that. But, you're probably right. I guess I should edit.

Nah. Let it go now. If most of the bad stuff got deleted it'll be alright.

I would rather not take any chances. Today should be about LSU beating Bama. Not any other bickering bullshite among the fanbase.

I got lost in feeling that the entire segment was contrived when we went from phrases like “fighting for her life” and “she wanted to die” after finding out she had had a colostomy bag to being all okay and getting back to normal 3 months later. Felt it made her look overly dramatic and high maintenance IMO.

You my friend are an idiot of epic proportions!
Perforated bowel is life threatening complication! My GM died from it.
Her life was definitely in peril, pain associated with it is totally unimaginable. If anything she soft sold the event.

Maybe you'll be lucky enough to actually experience it and can get back to us. I'm sure it will be easy for a person of your toughness. While you are at it, chop your dick off. I'm sure you will find enjoyment in that too.

My mom died from it. It's not a joke.

Why would Ree talk bad about the man he worships?

Oh, I know.

My reaction is more geared at the “I wanted to die” at the colostomy bag. I get she had issues her entire life, but let’s not pretend scoliosis is on par with something like cancer.

And that’s the problem.

The story was treated with the same gravity as Rinaldi stories with far more debilitating issues. You frickers are acting like this is a story of a kid with cancer fighting every step of the way before passing after seeing the Tigers play just one more time.

And then, with the highlight adversity of the story, the topic is “I wished I had died on the table” without a story of fighting back to redeem it. Just immediate switch from that to “bag off, life normalized”. It makes her seem as dramatic.

It’s a heartstring story, but I felt it was overdramatized and the way they portrayed her wasn’t the best. And not one syllable you or anyone else has said so far has contradicted that viewpoint.

Didn’t read that right.
Just trying to figure out why anyone here would talk shite about anything in that article.

I don't remember the thread and how it got started exactly, but it somehow devolved into O's past. I got involved after the nastiness and I thought got into a very interesting discussion. But, I have to admit that it was the wrong thread for that discussion.

I just don’t get the classlessness of some people that post here.

The whole idea of this site is to get people who love LSU to share thoughts and support this team.
Sometimes it just turns into a big bag of arse.

I can only tell you how I am. I will always cheer for LSU and will always be elated when they win and crushed when they lose. But, I am not the kind of person to just give blind support. I will always give my honest opinion no matter what the subject matter is. It's not to be divisive or to "hate." That's just who I am.

I had never heard about any of that. That’s a lot for anyone to deal with, but especially so when you are also trying to coach/recruit for one of the biggest programs in college football.

Glad she made it through that and Godspeed to their entire family.

I watched my mom waste away until the finally realized they have cut her colon in a hernia surgery during my sophomore year of high school.

She was in an induced coma for 11 months and was hospitalized for 19 total. She missed most important things in my high school years. Ring night, jr prom, my final years of football and drumline. She missed my senior jacket ceremony. Thankfully she was able to muster enough strength fo watch me graduate.

The pain and anguish and mental mindfrick of that situation is astounding.

So frick you sir, she wasn't over dramatic she was genuine in her feelings
