To be fair, his other brother was a pretty good safety without the problems Jordan had

I remember reading “Better know a freshman Justin Jefferson “ ...the reporter said that Jefferson’s ceiling was as a special teams player for LSU

Can we please not bash Jordan anymore? The dude won a lot of games at lsu, and in spite of the fans, he marshalled his two, stud brothers to baton rouge.
Had he been given an offense like we have now to run, he'd probably be a tiger legend.
He never should have been a QB. He had horrible instincts and never really looked comfortable in the position. Not his fault, that is on Les.
Of course his oversized ego where he thought he was the next coming of Michael Vick didn't help.
Ricky was awesome and Justin has been as well. Maybe Jordan should have been a TE or linebacker.

I hate it when our fans shite on Jordan Jefferson. Our former coach got his arse handed to him in that game. Jordan Jefferson played and won a lot of games for LSU.
The Jefferson family should have everyone’s respect as they have sent three (3) pretty damn good ball players to play for this program.

I was just thinking about that too.
Great route runner and catcher.
I like Jefferson as he bailed out LSU multiple times at critical moments. Burrow's go-to guy.
Special chemistry: Rohan-Reed and Burrow-Jefferson.

Jordan Jefferson was an awful QB and Awful leader. He decided to drink himself to obliteration b4 the national champ game. He also made such an arse out of himself breaking through a gate that he got his buddies arrested for pot. The fight at Bogies made us look like thugs nationally. Something was wrong with him mentally

Reminds me of Dwayne Bowe.

Hogwash.
How many elite qb prospects did Les Miles ruin? The only ones who had any real success were groomed by other coaches early on.
Jefferson would be fine in a wide open offense like this. Maybe not Joe Burrow or Sam Ehlingrr good, but certainly Kellen Mond good.

He’s not really tho. He plays quicker,
Yea he really is. It’s not even close. Landry was a 4.75 runner. Jefferson just ran by people last night, go back and watch the tape. Or go back and watch last year. He was consistently behind defenses

Jefferson is a 4.7 or so runner too. He gets separation by being elite at running routes and double moves. He is great at getting open.
Nobody will ever confuse Jefferson as a burner, except for you and your misguided take. It takes 5 seconds to look up his 40 time. You should do it, but clearly you won’t. Here you go. I’m not trying to be a tool, but you really don’t get it.
Justin Jefferson

Kudos to this young man, for evolving into the true threat that he has become. Many Tiger faithful had less-than-high hopes, regretfully, based on the immortally pathetic performance of a certain brother-who-shall-remain-nameless in the 2011 Natty. Justin has made the family name proud. Kid is a beast.
This post is quite pathetic.

There are elite WRs in the NFL that don't run 4.3. Michael Thomas ran something like 4.57

100% agree. That’s the point I’m making. I said he was similar to Landry in that regard. But Lester knows everything. I think Jefferson will be a decent WR at the next level because of a lot of skills, speed not being one of them. He will be a good slot receiver. I think he’s a Landry/Keenan Allen type WR.

He reminds me alot of Deandre Hopkins. Not saying he is as good Hopkins but the way they play is very similar. Long, lanky receivers that arent the fastest guys on the field but somehow just stay open play after play.

Yep. People always say some DB’s just have a knack for finding the ball, but that works for WR’s too. Some just always find a way to get open and find the ball. Jefferson is slowed down when the defense plays tight man to man, but he can rip soft coverage and a zone D part. Some WR’s just have a feel of where the soft spot/collapse in the coverage is going to be. Jefferson is that type, and he does it at an elite level.
