this could spiral out of control, see Craig James incident at T. Tech.

I don't think NSU is or was D-I.
But USFL and NFL? Absolutely. USFL championship, and Saints to the playoffs.
Those are skins.
This.
People forget that Bobby is a USFL championship quarterback.

playing ability does not translate into coaching ability. or even ability to predict outcome of games. The former players on ESPN prove that weekly.

Hebert, on a working news media credential, wasn't kicked out, but he might not be let back. He may be in danger of not being credentialed as a journalist in future Sugar Bowls or BCS title games in New Orleans. Sugar Bowl spokesman John Sudsbury said Tuesday he apologized to LSU associate athletics director Michael Bonnette for Hebert's behavior.
I guess they don't like people asking the hard questions.

Those of you who are too young to remember, the USFL was a spring/summer league that competed, quite well, with the NFL in the early 1980s. There was significant talent both on the field and on the sidelines.
Bobby Hebert won the first USFL championship, with the Michigan Panthers, throwing to Anthony Carter of UM. They defeated the Philadelphia Stars, coached by Jim Mora, with Chuck Fusina as QB and Sam Mills as his defensive captain.
It was a meaningful achievement.

Now that, good sir, is high comedy. Could you see Mile$ trying to match wits with Belichick? LOL Belichick plays chess. Mile$ is still trying to understand the rules of checkers.
whether he could / could not is irrelevant.
Saban, Hartbaugh, Carroll, have all done it...
padded their net worth by a few millions and returned to the college game.
and Miles has coached in the pros before.

This.
$4,000,000 per year isn't enough money to have to deal with criticism and questions. And yes, I like Miles, I want him to stay, and I like that his players seemingly love him.
But damn....

frick Bobby Hebert. If he said he has "forgot more football than Les Miles knows" then somebody needs to ask him if he forgot about choking away the game in BOTH of his playoff appearances by fumbling and throwing interceptions in the 4th quarters.

I think Miles should come out and take the blame for the poor game plan and explain what happened and tell everyone he was wrong for not playing Lee or Mett wene JJ was falling flat on his face and THEN people will move on. Just TAKE the blame LES. You could put a end to all of this.

Miles performance on Monday night did far more damage than any 5 radio hosts combined.
Thank You!!! This!! The whole nation saw this, I hope Ole Gunner isnt to put off by this.. according to Sheppards tweet that was locked up on the Rant earlier, He has had enough also... I hope this doesnt start a chain reaction of negative events.. Beginning with the melt down of coaching on monday night

Not disagreeing that he should say something, but that wouldn't end it. It would just be blood in the water for Rantards.

So, I guess Michigan's AD flew down to BR to have dinner with Miles at a pizza joint, or whatever family restaurant they went to, just to ask Les who he thought Michigan should hire in person because he couldn't believe it over the phone. Les told him to hire Brady Hoke, so the Michigan AD flew straight to San Diego the next day to pick him up. Gotcha

You honestly think what Hebert did and is doing is a good example of how to go about getting him to answer the "hard questions"?

I'm embarrassed by these assholes who identify themselves in some way to my alma mater. Just read through here. Some are openly cheering for demise of the program. This is truly a pathetic fanbase.

Y.A., I respect you, and your analysis on things.
What would you prefer to see? I'm serious, not trying to be a jerk.
We're all very upset with what we saw on the field, especially the play calling and unacceptably bad QB play. Many of us believe none of the conventional journalists would have asked the question with any type of urgency. And since the fans have no way, other than boo-ing during the game to communicate ?
Sorry, Y.A. Don't mean to call you out.
And no, this is not the demise of the program, and as a fan, who WANTS the demise of the program?

That wasn't a "hard" question. It was a statement disguised as a question. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) would've been proud.
