The sense of entitlement around here is fricking nauseating
so we should hire coaches because they are nice guys? Saban is an a-hole but is the greatest college coach ever.

of course the players should not be in charge. But clearly its a good thing when they like the decision rather than hate it?

The hire also sent all of LSU’s Internet fans into a frenzied melt. Neat

It literally means nothing in terms of determining whether or not it was a good hire.

Anyone remember Hal Hunter? The team rallied around him in 1999. The team was adamant that he would be their new head coach. The people in charge said no and actually had a coaching search and hired some guy named Nick Saban. Sometimes the people that see past 4 years need to make the decisions required to keep the program heading in the right direction.

LOL. I’m getting blasted because I think it’s good that one of the top WRs in the country likes his OC

probably because the hire violates one of the major pillars O built his campaign on. People are rightfully angry about being lied to

The ones who you're saying are melting are posting thought out replies while you are giving no input other than saying we're entitled and melting.

Ironic.

There was an article—probably by a Ponamsky-bot—linked in another thread with this as the exact title, shithead.

Search for it if you’re interested.

Don’t believe me? I don’t give a shite.

Yes, it’s good. I mean you wouldn’t want them hating it, would you?

No, it’s absolutely NOT an indication that it was a good hire.

Distinctions and stuff.

that tends to happen when a coach lies and claims he will get the best offensive coordinator to come to lsu. He then gets a guy who hasn't ran his own scheme in 20 years and was fired everytime he was an offensive coordinator in the past. Every school would melt. other schools are laughing at LSU.

I'm sure a lot of guys O recruited at ole Miss liked him too. Doesn't mean he had a winning season.

I never said that was the case

I merely said that two of our potential top players next year likes the hire, and the lynch mob came out....

frick it.. we suck, O sucks, Ensminger is geriatric AF with his wishbone offense, fire alleva, random binder comment, yaw yaw yaw, frickin gumbo with tomatoes

I think so. I think our players want to be coached up, want a chance to develop into NFL players, want to win games, and want to win championships. I believe their approval is a sign they think Ensminger can help achieve these goals. I don't believe they like the move just because Ensminger is a good guy. I am not arguing that this should be the reason he was hired, but only that the players approval is a good sign.

Man, you and TH are some stupid fricks

I NEVER SAID THAT MARSHALL AND BRENNAN LIKING THE HIRE MAKES IT A GOOD ONE

just pointing out that two of our top players are on board, and that holds a little weight for me

Sorry if half a gram of positivity sends you guys into an uproar, Jesus Christ

No, you just called me arrogant and entitled when I said it in a different way.

Right, and no one attacked you, man. We just said that has no bearing on determining if the hire was good or bad.
