10-2
We spank UNC and beat Florida. This hopefully is our year to beat Bama, but it could go either way, and Arkansas...........well it's usually always a nailbiter.
With that being typed.......I have been an LSU fan as long as I can remember and that will never change.............Please beat Saban!...

questions at Qb, decision making of the coaching staff, questions along both lines and a new backfield.
Bama will be very good, AU, moo state and ark are better than last year. I see 4 of our division oppenents improving and I am not sure we have over last year.

agree with 800lbgorilla 100%!... all the western division teams will be much improved with the exception of ole piss MAYBE -but H Nutt teams usually have his greatest yrs when expectiations are down. i just dont see our team making those same strides of improvement as other western div teams. prediction: maximum 9 win season b/c no significant coaching changes from the last 2 seasons. moreover, no significant improvements in yrs to come until significant coaching changes.

7-5 but the potential for something much worse is there.

questions at QB we had that last year
coaching problems we had that last year
line will be better
very talented backfield
all = better team and we managed to win 9 last year

If LSU does, the same people predicting 10-2 will be claiming (in retrospect) that others had too high expectations. 8-4 is the most likely scenario. Don't see the days of 10-11 wins until some problems get addressed. Maybe they have been, who knows. Will know in a few short months. After last season, when LSU could have finished with 10 wins or with 5, with a few bounces in the other direction, 7-9 wins is pretty realistic.

Hell, 7-5…
I was a die hard fan for many LSU seasons like this and will be here until I die.
I just think the college football cycle has come back around and we are back to being a middle of the pack SEC team and Bama is back to the top.
I'm just glad I was alive to see the last two NC's we won. It made it worth going thru the decade of suckfest that came before.
At least we arent Auburn, that can go undefeated and still not win a NC to save their lives.

I voted 8-4 due to more difficult schedule, unproven DL and OL, and still waiting for a QB to break into his own. I expect the team to play better, but adding two tough OOC games with the SEC grind is tough. Maybe 9-3. I think UF is merely reloaded and ready to roll.

I agree. I think they will actually be better because they wont depend on Tebow to win the game. Much like we did after JR left with Flynn and Tenn did with Tee Martin after Peyton left.

I think that the overall play of the Tigers will be improved, maybe not every position but the team overall.
With that being said this is a brutal schedule so 9-3.
I have been a Tiger fan all my life. I support them no matter where I am, staying up all night in Korea and Iraq to watch games.

I'm saying 10-2. We start the year off with a bang, but injuries slow us late.
Losses probably to Bama and Arkansas, with the latter knocking us out of the SEC title game.

9-3, and another Capital One bowl and we crush Iowa to finish 10-3. Don't really like this though because this would mean another 2 years of Miles...

You need to put that is what you heard someone say Les said. That's not a correct quote so take the quotes off Diamond. Also, don't repeat everything you hear it may not be true.

If LSU goes 2-10, 6-6, 7-5, 10-2, or 12-0, a true fan would still be there no matter what!! Kind of like Saints fans that were called idiots for pulling for the Saints, now, the ones who called them idiots are flying the Saints flag.
Is there some prize for correctly guessing LSU's record.
Seems a whole lot of people on here are always more worried about being right than supporting the team.
As far as idiots go, fanatic is the operative word.
There's an old man I know that has proclaimed every Sept for the last 30 years I've known him, "the Tigers are gonna win the SEC". If they lost a game, he'd remark they won't lose another.
During the early 90s I asked him how he could believe that, when we had a couple 3 or 4 win seasons previous with no improvement in sight. He said it was easier to support the Tigers and be down after a loss, than go through the whole season losing before the games were even played. "Bad for your health if you plan on following LSU for life", he said.
He'd be out on Sunday crowing how the Tigers were gonna run all over opponent next Sat.
According to his sons, this has been going on since Bernie Moore was coaching.
That my friends is a definition of a true fan.
I say 10-2 conservatively and don't give a rats arse if I'm wrong.
