this is not the alabama of old. without Bryce Young they are not even in the running. of course they do have him, but this team can score and put up better defense than we did against tennessee. why? because we have matured and the coaches are able to make faster adjustments. there should be a lot of points scored.

our biggest problem right now is how do you keep ojulari and perkins in the game together? it's obvious perkins has to be in the game.

it's great to have a staff who can game plan again!

They are not going to win, but they never quit so it will be within the point spread.

Enjoy the game. Season became a success with the bowl eligibility win against OM. Rest is icing on the cake. Program is definitely moving in the right direction.

Yep. We're not as bad as people thought after Tennessee game, but we're not as good as many are thinking right now. We're a much improved football team that's still growing. Don't expect a win vs Bama, but it's not an insane thought, like it was a month or 6 weeks ago (maybe even 3 weeks ago).

Win 3 of final 4 and a bowl would be amazing and a 10 win year.

DOWNVOTE.

why can't we speculate since all possibilities are still on the table right now? Its fun.

I still think TN has the suckiest of all chances:

- beat #1 (AL)
- beat #1 (GA)
- get beaten by 1-loss AL in SEC-C
- beat 1-loss AL/GA again in CFP playoff
- beat 1-loss AL/GA again in CFP championship

Good God can you imagine?

Pretty sure he is just playing the reverse jinx card and planting more rat poison for Bama.

Or 29-0, I've seen it before and I was kinda hyped for that game.

Enjoy the win over Ole Miss.

Consider it a blessing if we are in the Bama game come 4th quarter.

Alabama ALWAYS shows up to TS with their best performance of the season. If they have had mistake -prone games, bad coaching, not playing with focus, injuries, etc up to the LSU game, you can throw all of it out of the window.

That is pre-2019 thinking. In post Joseph era we can have swag and call our wins prior to the game.

All I can say is that if Alabama plays just like they did against LSU in 2021, it will be a long night for the Tide.

i definitely understand why it is rationale to favor alabama - bryce young is a given. you know he is not going to have a bad day. on the other hand, JD has had 2 great games in a row after a rough 6 game start. of course i am counting on JD having a good game, believing this Oline will keep him fairly comfortable. the oline, and i am trusting JD to keep it up, are the reasons i favor LSU. alabama's secondary is weak if the qb has time to throw.
