I think a lot of fans will want to see this game. Ok State for one. I think a lot of people will watch.

I think Bama is the second best team but let's not pretend that they have "just as much right" to be there as LSU does. That's absurd.

This may be a little off the OP, but.... with the talent that Texas pulls in every single season, for yall to not be more competitive is a crime. Mack Brown should be arrested for felony Fruad!! Texas needs to wise up and get a coach, with the recruiting classes Texas pulls in they should be a national powerhouse!!

Honestly, I'd be pissed if two teams from the Big 10 had a rematch in the title game if two other teams seemed, at the very least, equally deserving. I certainly would not have watched the 2006 rematch of UM/OSU.
I think rematches putting two teams in the same conference in the title game when other teams from other conferences are at least equally deserving under this system is inane.
I'll watch it because I can't be there, but the entire idea is really stupid, and I wouldn't fault anyone for not watching it.

Bama was a missed FG away from winning the strongest conference in the nation and would have won any other conference in the nation easily. If people are going to make the argument that Boise State shouldn't be in the NC game because they don't play anybody, you can't penalize Bama just because they play in the same division with the best team in the nation. If the 2 best teams in the country just happen to play each other BEFORE the NC game.....unfortunately, one of those 2 best teams is going to have a loss.
