I have a friend on Facebook that broke the news of Kelly getting fired basically the same time as PhillyTiger did, although he was flying with one of the boosters to Ft. Lauderdale.

Saban is the one cat who can come in and be the alpha. The governor, the AD, the fans, the damn everyone would shut up and let Nick Saban do whatever he wants to fix this mess.

If Saban ever came back to LSU as head coach, it wouldn’t be about the paycheck. It’d be about total control and unlimited resources to dominate recruiting and the portal.
