People who say, "Such and such is on so and so." Are invariably insecure people trying to get validation from another - a sports team, an entertainment personality, a political candidate, etc.
These people get extremely angry when their hero fails. In those cases their need to blame someone else comes from their emotional need to protect the object of their vicarious idolatry. I hope it works for your psyche.
