All the warm and fuzzies I had for Leslie Miles evaporated last December. And it's a damn shame.

My turning point was our first possession vs Wisconsin. Les spent the whole off season saying how things were going to be different, then we start the game running up the middle like always. At that moment, I knew he didn't change a thing and we were in for a rough year.

Be more pissed at Alleva for not pulling the trigger last year

Alleva pulled it last season. FKA and JBE were the ones who backed out. I do not know why this is still the perception

It all had to play out the way it did for Les to be fired. Be thankful he's no longer an impediment and enjoy yourself.

Me too. All the promises and it was the same old crap the first game. I will admit I was one on the Miles band wagon but when I walked out of the stadium in Wisconsin I was off the wagon. Same old crap. I'm really excited about the up coming year but only one thing will tell and that's time. Geaux Tigers

There was a time in late 2011, I actually said the words that Les was the second best coach in the country. As the next few years passed, I may have been one of the last Les supporters in Baton Rouge. When he wasn't let go in November, I was a disappointed because I knew it was time for a change, but I hoped for the best, that he would update the offense to give his players the best chance to win. Then Wisconsin happened. At that point, I just wanted him Kiffin'd at the airport. After watching the change in the team when Orgeron was put in charge, I was just outright "frick that guy." I'm not saying he lost the early games this year on purpose, but I will say he willfully fricked this team by not putting them in a position to succeed. It's a shame too, Miles practically rode out of the stadium last November as a hero, then it took two more games to completely shite out all the good will be had. If Miles had been replaced last year, I think this team would've gone 11-1 this season.

I spent money and time going to the Wisconsin game and in 5 minutes after the game started, I knew it was wasted.

I did enjoy watching our defense wreck shop this season.

I don't disagree with you.

But this was the most fun I've have had watching LSU football in a handful of years.

Thats the thing no one wants to recognize. The Bama game is EXACTLY What a les miles coached team would've done. But he probably would be beat Florida.

Etling has proved that he's good enough. If he starts against Wisconsin and Auburn, we win those two.

Doesn't have the strongest arm and needs a little work on his accuracy, (Canada will fix that) but has all the other intangibles. Was light years more advanced in running the Offense than Harris.

Want to see how much he can improve and what Scott/Brennan/Narcisse can do with Canada Coaching.

I fully expect Harris and McMillan to transfer after Spring practice. They should be able to get playing time else where. Neither are SEC level QB's. A "Strong Arm" or "Quick Feet" and that's it, are not enough to hack it at a Big Boy school.................

Agreed. And probably would have gotten that 4th seed in the playoffs, which meant LSU vs Bama rematch. A scenario that we all dream happens in our lifetime.

After Les was fired, I actually had fun watching LSU football for the first time in 4 or 5 years instead of having dread.

Miles would have done AT LEAST as well as O did, and likely wouldn't have lost to Florida. That is the reason Miles was fired in September. Because everyone in the admin knew he would go on a run against the rest of our schedule and potentially save his job again.

Every "fun" game we had for all the LSU is finally fun again crowd came against teams that couldn't stop the run to save their lives.

Was September and October not "fun" for you in 2015? Because that was the exact same results we saw under O this year.

I'm not saying Miles should have been retained. It was time for a change.

But the only reason LSU was "fun" again for so many was because they hated Miles for years and finally got their wish.

The only thing that changed was that the cloud of negativity that had been suffocating our program and players by a large portion of our fans was finally gone.

Had those bleeding tampons just shut the frick and stopped spewing their hate for the past five seasons, if not the entire 12 year tenure, things in BR would have felt and looked much different.
