These guys are quick to use the excuse of losing players to justify the average season. Yet Florida lost 2 of the best players in the country and ranked #1. I am with you.

They lost Faedo and 3 position players
LSU lost all 3 starters plus closer and 4 position players

I hope LSU can host a regional. No they will not lose 9 in a row. The sad deal is that they had a favorable SEC schedule this year missing UF RPI 1, UGA RPI 8, and UK RPI 19. LSU is sitting at RPI 49 right now which is 10th in the SEC and 17 spots behind the 9th place team.
LSU has a good name and will guarantee good crowds at a regional, but the Tigers need to win some games. I can see us hosting as a 2 seed.

If LSU wouldve just lost Lange, they would've shite a brick and not known what to do this season.
IMHO, the bottom line is nothing will improve until CPM finally hires a hitting coach. Not a former player. I'm shocked Dunn is still here and we haven't hired Daniel Bradshaw as the pitching coach.

So, that would make the starting pitching rotation Poche, Walker and Hess with Hilliard as a 4th starter. Sounds terrible.
