I have a feeling quack had no idea who Jarrett Lee was until this week. Then he listened to some pundits talk about his 2008 struggles, and boom, uneducated opinion.

Thomas has been an excellent QB for Oregon. Had he ended up going to LSU I doubt his stats would be nearly as impressive... even if he were LSU's starter and played every down. This wouldn't be just because he would be going up against SEC defenses here. It would be because the offense we've run tends to be more of a conservative, arguably ball-control offense. So, in Lee's defense, he hasn't been asked to run a quick scoring, prolific offense and the stats bear that out. Of course, even if he was, he wouldn't come close to Thomas' rushing stats.

nah, i actually like this board, i find it entertaining, but any time someone challenges you guys on something, or even asks a simple question, it just turns into name calling, and responses like " we compete in the sec" " the last 5" , or funny arse excuses like hes a pocket passer not a dual threat guy, hell even a decent pocket passer can manage not to get -166 yards rushing in his carreer.

I admit Thomas doesnt have to worry about lee... But he does have to worry about freak up the middle, Sam and mingo from the outside... And just when he thinks he is safe here comes tm7...

That's what happens when the OLine isn't experienced.
The SEC has proven to be a stronger conference seeing as they've won 7 of the 13 BCS National Championships.
They have won the last 5. You really can't argue with that.
Lee isn't a dual threat, he is a pocket passer. He isn't that mobile of a QB. Hell JJ was a Dual threat and how many times was he sacked?
