Brick?

Stadium expansion? I can't wait until we have 250,000 people on campus for game day!

If I'm a recruit, I'd think it's pretty fricking sweet.

Brick
A combination of a brick and stucco wall, wrought iron gates, and hedges would be sweet. The team portal in the north end zone behind the goal posts should be redone to match, keep the logo there but as an engraving in the stucco.

something along those lines would definitely be nice.

And still only about 4 roads (2 of which are two lane) leading to and from campus.

I like the hedges or the bricks idea. Put in something that looks pretty nice. Seems pretty cool

Screw that, I am already getting to where I'd rather stay home and watch it on TV because of the damn crowds.

I heard or read somewhere that it was estimated that 200,000 people were on campus for the Florida game last year (which means that 107,000 of those people didn't even have tickets). Judging from the traffic jam after that game I'd believe it--I live in Baton Rouge and couldn't get home until about 2:30 a.m...

since it's on victory hill, why not victory hill lane/drive/road/parkway/....
I agree completely. There is absolutely no signage/plaques/markers/whatever that denote Victory Hill. "Victory Hill Way" has a nice ring to it...

Any geologists on the Rant that can answer this question: a few years ago, the University of Michigan lowered its football field 9 feet so people in the first few rows could actually see the field instead of the backs of all the non-starting players standing around along the sidelines. Tiger Stadium's first 10-20 rows are also very low and difficult to see over the players standing on the sideline. Is Tiger Stadium's proximately to the Mississippi River water tables just too close to dig the field down even several feet to give our fans a better view of the game? I'm guessing that Death Valley's state-of-the-art drainage system is really no match for the water tables or this would have already been considered...

Chain-link fence around the stadium needs to go

what chain link fence is being talked about? i was thinking they meant the one around the outside on the west.
as for the one around the field, due to the fact there are field level seats don't want to see that one replaced.
i would like to see better video screens and the return of the 'welcome to death valley' sign.
also, how about replacing the ventilation system in the men's restroom that currently consist of a box fan and a piece of insulated wire (that replaced a coat hanger this season).
more seats/suites in the south endzone would be fine...more tiger fans the better.

maybe the one scoreboard was ok....but I really was not a fan of how Auburn had their scoreboard setup...only in one endzone and whatnot
definetely need 2. i was in the upper deck of auburn on the opposite side of the field and the screen was nice, but wouldve been a lot nicer if there was one in my endzone. also i didnt like the bright electronic advertisments around the screen. they were too bright and it made it harder to see the replays.

not a geologist, but if you dig anywhere in south La below I-10 you will likely hit water by 6 feet (except for the Indian Mounds on campus and Monkey Hill at the Audobon Zoo in N.O.)
so I would guess your assumption is right.

As far as facelifts go, I would like to re-introduce the horrible looking grating over the windows on the West side facing Nicholson. That, and the crappy brick that wraps around it. It sticks out so much from the rest of the stadium and doesn't match at all.

I say we rename N. Stadium Earthquake Alley..
