I quit getting emotional about sports and LSU football in particular quite a while ago. I have much more going on in
my life to emote about than a stupid fricking football game and who attends or doesn’t attend and when they leave a game.

I simply made a statement based on observations of current crowd dynamics.

About half the people in that stadium for any game now are there to be seen. They get their photos so they can post on social media and then look for their exit. They might cheer when everybody else Cheers, but they don’t know why they’re cheering except the Home team did something good.

They have their exit planned before they even go to the game.

Dude. It has ALWAYS been an issue at LSU.

it has been a thing since about 2006 but the extent of it varies widely based on what all is going on with the program. recently it has certainly been worse.

People would leave in the fourth quarter, not at halftime. That was a new phenomenon
Just the last 2 seasons? Not a fricking chance. That shite has been going on heavily for 20 years.

Tiger Stadium is the best environment for college football. Hands down!

Anyone that says otherwise is an idiot or a troll!

I agree.

It’s a cathedral of modern sports.

It’s such an awesome venue and big games are quite the event and those fleeting moments that reflect the timeless nature of a big game in Tiger Stadium is the reason that I still go to the games.
