Go back and watch Yeldon's TD when he walked in untouched through a massive hole.
Compare it with Gurley's touchdown where he drug 8 men into the endzone.
Yeah, that is really the reaction for each of those.
/Verne is still trying to prove Gurley's knee hit the ground
yet id be willing to bet that this afternoon you will hear...but paaaaaaawwwwwllll, can u believe how anti bammer those announcers were paaaaaawwwwwwlllllll?!?!?!

I have almost always muted games that G & V commentate ever since this happened and I had to listen to them both go on about him "ACCELERATING!" for 20 fricking minutes over 50+ replays from every single angle possible.

Time for SEC to get rid of Verne as play by play
Verne is obnoxious and adds nothing but aggravation to the games he calls.

So who is the best tandem out there?
The sec game of the week deserves the best and I agree that It is time for Verne to hang it up. He dwells and talks about parts of the game that aren't important and misses the much more interesting stuff. Danielson is ok, has knowledge, but plays the favorites to much. Most of Danielsons time seems like he is trying to keep Verne on track and not wandering aimlessly through thoughts.

Germans. Vern should have been gone long ago. He and Gary both. Front runners if I've ever seen them. They sound so disappointed when something doesn't go Bamas way. Same thing with Florida when they had Tebow

I like the FOX guys. Listened to them during B1G champ Game. Think they are much better.

Danielson has been driving me up the wall for years. I hate him more than any other, including old Verne. You may think he sounds knowledgeable, but he says things that just aren't true constantly, and 90% of the time he's talking about the game at hand, I'm pretty sure he's watching some other game on some other planet. Oh yeah, and of course he's always totally biased.
On another note, I hope Jon Gruden turns down all coaching offers with tremendously ridiculous expectations (ie all coaching offers, prof & college) and continues calling NFL games and producing segments.

I tried to get the fark board to make this happen but nobody sees the resemblance I guess...

I noticed this during the game too. Just about every run by Bama, a Verne "wow" was sure to follow. He always sounded kind of depressed whenever Gurley would make a similar or better run.

Last year Reid intercepted Bama
Vern: "oh no...."
Vern: "oh no...."

I wish I had a dollar for every "I hate Verne and or Gary" post.
I could get by without having to win the Powerball.
