So how many more years do you give him?

What did he win at Miss State?
Aren't the players that he recruited to Ms St carrying the team now?

Andy Cannizaro will never coach at LSU again. .
Unfortunately for LSU baseball, I agree with that statement.

Absolutely wrong!! AC is without a doubt, and it ain’t even close, is the RIGHT man for the job! If AC was hired, I truly feel that ship has sailed, to be our baseball HC LSU would win 3 CWS titles in his first 10yrs!!!!
That being said with Woodward now the new AD, there is a very slim possibility he might look at AC if PM retired or gets pushed out! Would be better if he is pushed out then his thoughts on who should replace him might have less impact. If he retires I think they will have more impact on the next hire!

How many coaches have done this since Skip

I really don’t know? I’d let this season play out before going there.

It’s crazy to me how everyone is saying a CWS winning coach.... Great he’s won one World Series when he’s had some of the most talented teams year after year. We could get almost anyone we wanted for this job as everyone sees the talent that this school gets in baseball. Yet we stay with a coach how has lost the edge and doesn’t seem to want to find it.

I’m not saying he should get the job at lsu, but don’t act like he never did anything as a coach

ndy will never coach an inning of high school baseball imo
So he will be fired or quit before the next baseball season starts?

Why don't you clowns quit trying to pick the next coach. Last week it was understandable but we now have an actual AD. One of the best in the business who can go out and make a homerun hire. So trust in Scott and quit throwing out ridiculous names in desperation.

The kids Cannizaro recruited are currently #2 in the country.
You're kidding yourself if you think he can't coach and recruit in the SEC. He may not get the job at LSU but he'll be coaching a D-1 program in 2-3 years. By that time Manieri could be looking on his way out.

He will not coach again in major college baseball. Has zero to do with his coaching ability

he was terrible at State

Sure some of the kids he recruited are #2. But these are also the kids he fricked over by worrying more about his side piece then coaching his team.
