After all, once a kid hears the word frick, they're doomed to a lifetime of prostitution, drug addiction, devil worshiping and/or pedophilia.
Damn, I guess I'm going to be a prostituting pedophile who worships the devil and is addicted to drugs. Gee, thanks Dad!

Oh great, it's parents bringing their kids to Tiger Stadium again...get a grip, keep your kids away if you have a problem with the atmosphere

Yeah, I take my kids from time to time and I always remind them that they may hear some words we don't say at home or anywhere for that matter and when they do, ASK ME, what it means and if it's something they can say before they ever use it. Not everyone lives by the same values and same code of conduct we do, and that's ok.
Love it. Taking my kids to their first game at Tiger Stadium on Saturday and planned to have the same talk with them.
ETA: except for the "and that's ok" part. I'd prefer others live their lives exactly as I do, and muffle their F-bombs under their breath, and pretend at church that they would never say such a thing.

hahaha I don't think you're singling anyone out by saying "to the drunk student on Nicholson yelling frick" This could be 10,000 different people

Yep, prep the kids for asinine drunken behavior.
I'm kinda in favor of the time-honored question to the punks - "You kiss your momma with that mouth?"
(Of course, maybe wait till the kids are out of earshot for the certain-to-be comeback )

You do realize a guy with little kids is probably only about 5-7 years older than you.

There are 30,000 LSU students and prob about 50,000 student age people there. You think by posting this message you will get to him on here? Brilliant. Thought you gained wisdom as you go older.
That being said. It is ok to speak up and say something to the kid though. Just ask him to watch his mouth since your kids are right there and he is completely oblivious to it. Most people would watch their mouth without needing a fist in it.

The OP did NOT over-react. He just told ya what the devil on his shoulder wanted to do.
I got the FBomb treatment too, in front of my nine year old. I didn't get bent out of shape, I just told my son about how we couldn't control what others say, only what we can say. And we talked about how guys use language around other guys. But in public we observe certain decorum for societies sake.
Then I launched into a two hour diatribe on The Social Contract, taking personal responsibility, the negative influence of rap music, the crassness of popular culture, The Bell Curve, how far I had to walk to school when I was a kid, warned him to keep his friends off our lawn, etc. In a related note,My son sued for emancipation this morning.

During the Auburn game I said "God Damn our offense sucks" Dude with his wife/gf (lsu fan btw)leaned over and told me if i say that again he would whip my arse and to quit being a nega-tiger. So I know he posts on the rant. I started laughing at him and he quickly sat back down.
