Best at tackling after the catch, anyways.

If you are implying that Peterson sucks...you need to go frick yourself. Cause he is a beast fa sho!!! Best player on the defense.

Tolliver, Nevis, Cutura, Keiland, and Kelvin Sheppherd played good as well!!

Peterson was excellent tonight. The majority of his tackles were made after 5 yard completions. Do you want him to jump the route and allow 25 yards gains if he can't get the interception?

Also, unlike Chris Hawkins, he actually managed to tackle receivers and running backs on screen plays from the backfield. Unlike Hawkins, he wasn't overwhelmed by the 185 pound Husky receivers.

Peterson's coverage skills were average tonight. Seriously, he had at least 7 passes completed on him.
He broke up a few passes that he was close to...When you have to play 15 yards away from the WR seriously even Superman couldnt defend that.
PP played as good as anyone lately. I'd say way above average.

I didn't hear Peterson's name much, but that Patrick Patterson guy sure was in on a bunch of plays.

I think we had more bright spots than people want to point out. The names mentioned in this thread played well last night and very much were the reasons we won this game

Our defensive coaches are what kept PP from having a great game.

We had talent last year on d and have similiar talent this year. Coaching hurt us on d last year and coaching hurt us again in our first game this year. Hopefully the d coaches will come with an improved schem against a team that we have film on when we play Vandy next weekend.

If not I will be looking forward to bow season even more than I already am.
