His performance absolutely jeopardized LSU. I do blame Crowton/Les for the piss-poor play calling, but the kid was off.....way off.

The grounding penalities are Busch League at best.

yea completing less than a 1/3 of his passes didn't do anything to keep this closer than it should have

Yes, but even in JJ's worse game this season he completed over 50% of his passes.

Went for the head, SFP...both arms and head to TT's head.

Protecting players these days, right?

you have to lead with the helmet

pretty sure the rule isn't for anything below the neck, and it's only for defenseless WRS. TT was making the catch

And the Tech player went for TT's head, not the ball.

Yes, he took one sack and then got two more "penalty" sacks by throwing the ball away without even attempting to scramble away from the rush. He stood in the pocket for 3-4 seconds, found no one open, stepped up and threw it out of bounds. That's beyond terrible. I'd almost rather he take the sack trying to get away.

I thought it was a good physical hit. But according the msutiger logic since Lee could not throw for 250yds against tech he sucks.

He had a TD and ZERO turnovers. He protected the ball. Those of you saying he hasnt improved at all, isnt that an improvement? He also didnt just take the sack, he threw the ball away when necessary. No who didnt light the sky up and throw for 300 but he didnt give the other team the ball or spot the other team 7 points which is an improvement from last season. He did nothing to cost us the game but didnt do much to help win it. Shouldnt that be the correct analysis from this game?

Your "Lee is everything" schtick is tired.

time to retire it and get another one

msu tiger you are the only logical person on this board. He did not a play a GOOD game. He played well enough to keep the tigers in it. He did throw a touchdown pass. Had Jefferson had the same stats they would have said he didnt throw any pics. Jefferson should have atleast had five more pics this year IF they would have caught them..but we dont count those do we...They cant get their head out of Jeffersons butt long enough to realize that Lee didnt play a terrible game.

MSUTIGER would have said Jefferson sucked and Lee should be named the starting qb to jumpstart the offense.

And if it is, that makes up for his abysmal play last night? With all respect to you, and more importantly, him, I cannot believe I am reading a post like this. I mean do you really think he's being given an unfair shake? He had a shot in the Bama game and bumbled that. Last night was a total disaster from beginning to end. Not only were his passes off, but his game management was terrible. He started 8 games last year. He should be salivating for redemption - but he comes out and lays that egg. I'm sorry, while I'm sympathetic to him, I don't think sugarcoating his play helps.

More than that, if the story line from the Lee supporters is "he should have gotten more reps earlier", then why not argue now for getting Sheppard or Garrett more reps. What concerns me most about Miles/Crowton right now is how they seem to be mismanaging the incredible talent LSU has. You wonder what in the world Crowton is doing.

He threw 2 sure-thing pick 6's if the DB had caught the ball.

AGAIN Why do almost only count for Lee and not Jefferson. Do we forget Jefferson's almost against ULL, Washington, State, Georgia, Vandy... Why the hate and nit picking on 1 particular LSU player?

Lee did not have a good game, there is no argument there. IMO one of the "almost pick 6's" was tipped by our receiver before the DB had the opportunity to catch it. I don't think you can hold that against him. He also had piss poor protection all night. It would be great if he could have scrambled but we are not down there on the field with 300 pound guys trying to knock our heads off. Most of you were on the couch viewing the game through beer goggles.

MSU, I usually like you, but your defense of Jarrett Lee makes you look like a fricking moron. The kid might be the worst QB to every step under center for LSU.
