There was a poster named LSU MATT in 07 that came up with a NC scenario when we had two losses. He had it figured out. He didn't say we would win-he just told us what would need to happen. I can assure you this place was full of naysayers. Now, even though they have seen it happen before, they still don't believe.
OP-I think your post is good as well as your position as a fan.

TWO things needed to happen for LSU to make it in 2007.
About 30 things need to happen this season.
You want to type those out?
Once the dust settled on Monday morning in 07 people started to realize LSU had a shot if two things happened. Saying you were the only few to believe in 07 is an overrated position to hold.
It's not going to happen this season. It doesn't make you a better fan if you think it will. It makes you an idiot.

The only thing dumber than thinking we will beat Bama is thinkin that Aubie will beat Bama.
ETA, Ole Miss did the unthinkable last night. Right?

Mathematically it's possible. But so mathematically it's possible Mila Kunis knocks on my door and demands to be sodomized.

OK, Big Mouth. Put your money where your big mouth is.
Post your Bet Slip for $10,000.00 on LSU to win the BCS Championship Game.
If you don't do this, I'll know that you are just another Big Mouth, like the kind who have a few drinks in bars and start to run their Big Mouths.

What is it that you arent realizing? That 2007 team had a good/above avg defense. We have a below avg/horrible defense this year. That means we will more than likely drop another game this year. Bama isnt as good as everyone thinks, but there's no way we will be able to stop them. Our entire season of poor/horrible defensive play is on film and our weaknesses are obvious. They will be attacked and exploited against properly coached teams such as Bama. I honestly think we will beat A&M this year. Sure, they'll put up 50 pts on us, but we may put up 60. Their defense, believe it or not, is even more horrible than ours. I was one of the only people having confidence in an undefeated season and a possible NC this year because I recognized how much talent all other teams lost (A&M, Georgia, Florida) and I didnt think our schedule was nearly as tough as people (the media) were making it out to be. Then the season started. Our team took the field and has been unimpressive to say the least. Hopefully this rough stretch will pay off 2 yrs from now when Jennings will be a junior and have a yr of experience under his belt. Then we may have a pretty good shot to get a NC. This season is lost.

Are you a bookie or something? Why do people need to bet 5 figures or more to have an opinion on football?
You post the same thing in every single thread.

I'm no bookie, but, I like to call out big mouth loud mouth people who like to make LOUD proclamations that they think are important, but, they are really just farting methane into the atmosphere through their cake holes.
I don't like Big Mouth Proclamators. Does that make me a bad person?
If you think that LSU is going to win it all this year, don't start a Big Mouth thread on it like you are some kind of special Super Fan, post your bet slip so that we don't have to read that shite unless we know you are seriously NOT talking out of your arse just cause you like to hear yourself talk.
Does this make me a bad person?

Nice to know you are a Miles hater to the core. When you can go to a school and have the proven record of Miles in eight years apply for this magical opening at LSU. National championships every year would be nice to see as maybe the excess funds would more easily run over into academics and other expenses in need o funds yearly.

Type whatever you like. I didn't say it's gonna' happen but that it could. Chances? Not good;however, I'm not gonna' ride someone that chooses to put their hope into it. Different people react differently to circumstances.
Frankly, it's hard to believe how down folks get over a loss. I wait months and then all long summer for LSU football and I'll be damned if I'll let it ruin my day or stop enjoying it. I know there will be losses as well as wins.

Never happening, especially when we lose one more.

There's this team called Auburn who has to lose again in the SEC. It ain't gonna happen dude. Get over it. If I was a betting man I would almost say that LSU could possibly be flat as hell the rest of the season just like 2009 after the Mississippi Meltdown game. This team will have a very hard time getting over this loss.

There's a good chance we're going to finish 5th in the SEC West. Our absolute ceiling is probably 3rd. If that doesn't disappoint you, you deserve complacency
