That was a turnover. More obvious than any call that went against us in 2018. Now, we had several, and they added up to more than this one, imo.

I think the whistle killed the play before the strip. Now whether the whistle came too early, to that I'll just say frick aggy.

Sure was and thank goodness they blew that call and we moved on quickly.

Was not a turnover. The whistle blew when (the ref thought) forward progress was stopped, which was before the strip. Now, did the ref blow the whistle early? IMO, yes.

Just rewatched it. He 1000% fumbled the ball and it wasn’t close.
Only thing that saved us is the ref had a distorted view with all the players being in the way. We caught a major break on that one and I’d be pissed if I was an A&M fan

Well they got a no call fumble in 2018 so screw em.

Definitely a fumble. I just knew they were gonna give aTm the ball. Welp…

Tigers win! Game Over! Don't care!

Ref said it was blown dead in mic therefore not reviewable.
Definitely a clean strip otherwise. Honey badger style.

I call it a make up call for the 4 different times we won the 7OT game but the refs said no.

100% it was, capping off an extremely stupid punt return attempt. For once, thankful we have SEC officials.

Was a strip but refs fricked us in that 7OT game a few years ago so now we’re even.

That was home cooking imo.
I wanna watching at bar and they didn't show reply that I remember. I was great broken and upset when it happened. But I mean it does make sense if forward progress was stopped. Didn't see a replay so I gotta take refs word for it

Definitely fumbled but ref said play was dead from forward progress prior to the fumble. I think that was a bad call and we caught a lucky break.
That shite happens. I can't recall exactly which game but I can absolutely recall being angry about not getting the call our say in Tiger Stadium in recent years.
And the Saints were robbed of a big one the same way in 2018 or so when we returned the strip fumble for a TD that came back. Forward progress called and no fumble.
Happens.

I thought he may have stepped out at the 30 when the first 2 would be tacklers pushed him. Looks like his left foot may have gone out and players slowed down.

heard the whistle before the fumble.
If you watch the replay, the whistles come way after the ball is taken from Palmer.

Fumble…yes…. Still doesn’t equal pay back for that overtime joke of a game that we lost to those son of a bitches with all of the bad calls and lucky breaks they got!

Palmer was spinning around near the 30, and then got stripped of the ball at the 34. LSU was also flagged for a blind-side block on the play, and the referee marked the penalty off from the 30. The refs definitely had Palmer's progress stopped at the 30 which, right or wrong, came before the fumble.
ETA: The illegal block was a spot foul at the LSU 30 so my logic in the above paragraph is wrong.
