re: True Hard-Hitting unadulterated cold facts on when Coach Eaux left the USC program

Here’s a fact...he left USC and was not pursued by ANY other school to be a HC. In fact he was unemployed for a while. Out of football. He was not in demand outside of LSU as a HC even after his interim run here.
I support him now that he’s on board as our HC, but it was a dark day in my house when he was hired, because I thought we could have hired 100 better qualified people ahead of him. I hope he proves me wrong, but I’m still concerned.

let's not pretend that 18-23 year olds have any clue about what is best for them or a football program. ON top of that, the vast majority of college football players are at or below average intelligence. That's an unadulterated cold fact.
I wish people would at least read the first two sentences of a post before replying. They go off on some idiotic tangent that has nothing to do with the topic they somehow miraculously stumbled across.

What’s there to twist? You start a thread about true hard hitting facts, and then you post a bunch of opinions. Glad these players thought so highly of O, but that’s their opinion. People usually learn that around the 3rd grade.

Don't remember, but it was from the previous season before they left him standing at the airport tarmac without a job.

It’s a fact that some USC players loved him
So?
So?

Eaux also beat the #4 ranked Stanford team that year
O has 2 quality wins that’s 1

Of Kiffins four wins in his last 11 games
If anyone doubts that the standard are lowered and certain people are O fans and not LSU fans, notice how they can never defend Os record on its own. They will always try and compare it to someone else and usually, as here, cherry pick to show how O is better. Cause you know the goal for LSU shouldn’t be to win championships but to do better than Lane Kiffin did is an arbitrarily selected stretch of games at USC. Or better than Tom Herman or Jimbo Fisher.

This is just idiotic. How did those 100 coaches do this year?
I can tell you how the two idiots this board wanted. And it was not nearly as good as what Eaux has done at LSU.

You should have waited until after midnight to make the first truly ignorant assed, stupid, shitty post of the year.
You can still finish in the running for that honor if said described post THIS year though.

I was pointing out to a poster that he had posted some facts...so? I didn’t comment about anything the players said so don’t get your o hating panties in a wad. Y’all are so damn sensitive . My opinion on the comments? Not surprised most players feel that way about their coaches...Ours felt that way about miles

You can’t compare these this way and you know it. You would have to have Orgeron coach their teams with their schedules and do better with THEIR teams.
Or them coach LSU and do worse than o.
But you aren’t logical.

Why would they have to defend 9-3 record with a chance at 10 wins?
Not to mention 5-2 at USC as IHC, 5-2 at LSU as IHC and a 10-3 overall record as HC at LSU.

Why did we fire Les again? We apparently shouldn’t have, since you idiots just lowered the standard for Orgeron. This year was no better than Les did. And you call it success.
Pathetic.
