Your negativity just helped the program out. Thanks!
Please list the ways that my "negativity" just harmed this program.

You can't solve anything with the coaching staff right now. There is a time and place for everything. This isn't the time and place to talk about the coaching staff.
So football season isn't the time and place to talk about football coaches?
Would you prefer Easter? St. Patrick's Day?

As fans we can't do anything in the current situation except cheer for LSU.
I cheer for LSU every Saturday. I criticize bad coaching when it occurs.

That is what True Tiger Fans understand an not the fans who leave early or boo.
I've never booed and I haven't left a game early in 25 years.

I consider these people casual fans whose demand for perfection only shows their lack of intelligence. Just win baby, Win!
Yes, asking your $4 million dollar a year coach and $600,000 a year offensive coordinator to be organized enough to run two plays in thirty seconds is "demanding perfection."
You really shouldn't judge others regarding intelligence.

I love the Tigahs and cheer for them no matter what. I'm still disgruntled about the bungling of the end of last week's game...especially given that we had already been down the clock management fiasco road before...and we were assured that it wouldn't happen again. It almost did.
Honestly, it's bad coaching...and bad leadership at the qb position. A true, head in the game qb clocks it without the coaches input at the end. JJ should have NEVER been put into a position where mental toughness is a requirement. He just doesn't have it. Bad coaching...and awful qb play/leadership.
As a true LSU fan...that is the way I feel.
Despite my be disgruntled, I will be waiting with baited breath for LSU v. uf and cheering on the team...the coaches...and my Tigahs in general!

If I see another one of these threads my eyes are going to bleed blood.
Seriously? There infinite JJ vs. JL, Les is an idiot, LSU is the laughing stock, blah, blah, blah threads, but THESE threads--the positive ones encouraging everybody to stick together and support the team are the ones that make your eyes bleed? fricking seriously?

The people that bitch on the Rant are the same people that set up on campus at 4:30 PM every Friday and make a weekend out of what is LSU football. From Friday night to Saturday's kickoff, you can't find a more joyous occasion anywhere else. The fun, excitement and anxious anticipation of game day at LSU are second to none.
However, when you enter the stadium, watch an inept offense underwhelm you, see the coaching staff not making adjustments, watch the staff completely blow your mind with horrible (and I mean horrible) clock management, it tends to take some fun out of it. The coaches make it very hard to stay positive at times.
So I don't blame anybody for anything that is posted here. I'd rather a post here than some idiotic remark inside the stadium for all to hear.

Just because I think our coach is a buffoon does not make me any less of a fan.
No what you think doesn't mean you are not a good fan but go look at the recent interviews with the players.
You are not supporting them by making sure the whole world knows how you feel.
If you are the type of fan (not saying you are) that throws JD bottles at and hospitalizes our cheerleaders, or boos our players (that's how they see it even if it was 'directed' at the coach, or goes on radio shows and tries to convince recruits that LSU is a mistake for them then you are not a true fan, you are an idiot.
These ARE things that ARE going on in our fan base, YOU may not be out there like that but there are MANY (that share your view of Miles and think that justifies their behavior) that ARE and if it doesn't stop LSU IS going to SUCK for a long time with or without Les Miles.

25 years? Really? You started going to LSU games when you were 4 years old (your profile says you were born in 1981, so that makes you 29 years old - right?) and during that entire stretch you never left early? Now I know you are lying or you haven't been to very many games. You didn't leave when Miami waxed our arse in the 1988 by a score of 44 - 3 in a driving rainstorm? I didn't see you then and I knew everyone left in the stadium.

Yes.

Not once. My father wouldn't allow it. I have never left a game early.

I went to two to three games a year when I was really young and started going to practically every game around the age of 10 (the Hallman era - I sat through every minute of Curly Hallman games.)

I wasn't there, but my father sat through the whole game.

I didn't see you, so how do I know you were there?

This is some of the dumbest crap I've ever read.
So in order to be a "true fan," one must be detrimentally naive to the problems with the current coaching staff?
Thanks, your post just helped all of our LSU degrees decline slightly in value.
I'm going to side with Antonio on this issue.
I love LSU, I love the Tigers, and I love my country. The fact that I love my country does not prevent me from being critical of my government. The fact that I love my Tigers does not prevent me from being critical of their coach. The fact that I love my school does not prevent me from being critical of the administration.
I take ownership in my affliation with LSU. I believe that it's my responsiblity to speak out on issues that affect the school because what the school does affects me as an alumnus with LSU prominently featured on my resume.
Anyone familiar with my posts knows that I don't spend a lot of time criticizing Les or any of the players. I'm not a negatiger in any way shape or form. But, at the same time, I'm not going to stay silent when somone seeks to silence criticism (whether I agree with it or not).

That was my freshman year at LSU...it was the only home game that I did not attend...got hammered at a pregame kegger at Power Dorm. I was barfing and ready to pass out when a fellow (not as inebriated) student bought my ticket. I passed out...I later woke in a po'd state that I had missed the game! I turned on the TV to (for the first and only time) thank God that I got too wasted to function!

We owe it to the student athletes that have decided to come to our cherished school. They could have all gone anywhere and I will always support them whether they win or lose. The coaching staff is a different matter, they are paid to come here. Those who boo and speak negatively do nothing but hurt those player and our potential recruits. I am not a Miles supporter or negatiger I just want whats best for LSU. As of right now the best thing in my eyes is for this coaching staff to pull together and win the Florida game. I am not convinced we aren't a championship team, maybe I will be after this week, but I see a lot of signs of improvement over last year and tremendous talent particularily on the defensive side of the ball. Be loud and be proud and support every player.

I'm with you. The bitching can wait. If we beat UF most people will be happy. However, I'm convinced that there are some fans that do not want to enjoy this season at all. Hell, we are 5-0 and ranked in the top ten. I think we should enjoy this ride. If we beat UF, we are looking at 7-0 and facing Auburn. I'm rallying.
