My point was that Cruz getting caught chasing a slider isn’t a big deal , it’s a game where the pros even have trouble with it and that’s over a 10 year career a lot of times.
Sometimes pitchers are just hard to hit. I guarantee you that if the pitchers start getting cocky after striking him out a time or two with a great slider and try to fool him with a fastball or leave that slider out over the plate then they will find out real quick to be careful and humble themselves
