At 400 feet, that's 71 feet too short in center to hold back the Bear.

All UNC sports venues are in a beautiful settings. I played there as a player on visiting teams many many years ago. Anyone going will love Chapel Hill and Research Triangle Area ( UNC Duke and NC State are within 25 miles of each other) Go Tigers
They don't know how to act when they leave Luzianner and travel to a "Nice" area that's clean and well maintained.
That's the bold and honest truth from what I witnessed growing up in Louisiana (Mandeville) and living in Louisiana (Except for my LSU student years) up until Katrina in 2005.

LSU grad here who is long time NC resident. Boshamer is actually a very nice stadium, though smaller than Alex Box. ALL chairback seating, but no outfield seating and not conducive to adding temporary seating.
Weird right center wall dates to stadium renovation/field reconfiguration about 15 years ago. Large light pole in right center was too problematic to move I guess, so they just brought the fence in front of it for that section of the wall.
For opposite field power hitters like Tommy Tanks, that should be enticing.
BTW Friday forecast is sunny and 78 degrees. Nice.

I hate when tiny parks get to host. I wish it would be taken more into consideration. It’s not our fault these schools refuse to build 10K capacity parks.
There needs to be accountability here. Build a suitable for hosting post season play or you get passed up.

How out of touch are you with college baseball? Damn near nobody would be able to host if that was the case. UNC stadium is probably one of the best venues outside of the SEC so I’m definitely not complaining. There are many stadiums way shittier.

My kid just graduated from UNC last year. LSU fans will love the area and the beautiful campus especially with the expected temps. Easy campus to navigate and make sure you all take good care of the establishments on Franklin St.....they are about to experience a fan invasion like they rarely see.

S.Miss actually has a bigger ball park than UT but there is no way it would host over the Vols. The NCAA took park size out of the bid process years ago. For better or worse.

Didn’t Southern Miss win the bid to host the super last year over Tenn after each won their regional as a 2 seed?

While there's no berm it appears the RF outfield fence is see through. Just a note for you Standing Room Only folks.
I also read they are allowing fans to bring in coolers? What?? They are really tempting fate.
Turn up tiger fans!!!

Lol,
With Bear and Tanks coming to town they might want to keep that parking lot behind left field empty. There may be lots of broken windows if not.

Soft sided coolers only that will fit under your seat and can only contain unopened water bottles. They say on the website every cooler will be inspected, but who knows.

This is the way. I bring in a "bottle of water" every game at the box.
