Why does Texas need a QB? They have two good young ones.

Of Burrows three great options, Texas, Fla, and LSU, the LSU Tigers are a perfect team to sign with, they have the most talent and Burrows fits their greatest need.

I saw an analysis of this a couple of days ago and the pundits did not seem to think UT was in the market for a grad transfer and preferred to go with what they had. Also they did not think that UF was on Burrow's radar for some reason even though most think they would be interested.

To me the wildcard in this threesome is that Tom Herman was Joe Burrow's lead recruiter at tOSU when he signed...

I m sure all my fellow 247 subscribers just read the Bucknuts update where there Mod. says LSU has lots of ground to make up they predict him signing with Cincinnati. Don’t shoot the messenger.

Buechele was replaced by a true freshman Sam Ehlinger last year. He’s a good QB.

3. LSU is loaded with WR's. Arguably the best set of WR's in the country on any one team.

Other than Giles (who hasn't played in LSU's offense yet), we have a bunch of talented, but unproven college WRs. Jefferson looks like he will be really good though, Dillon is lightning and has a lot of potential and we have some really tall WRs, but they have to do it on the field.

And once again, Orgeron is not Saban. Saban had won a NC at LSU when he lost to ULM. NC ring speaks louder than a loss to ULM to a recruit. Compare Orgeron’s HC record and Sabans HC record at the time of the bad losses and tell me the situations are the same.

I just posted a reply in another post on this. They are not P5 but they may be guarantying him the starting job... He has connections there so it is believable.

I’ll shut up now about my despisal of Orgeron. Hopefully he lands Burrow.

pretty impressive how those sauces can read the dude’s mind

the only other way i could see them knowing such information is if JB himself said, “yeah i’m still feeling Cincy” while on the visit in BR, and i find that unlikely

As of his update 90 mins ago, OSU 247 mod says his sources say Cincinnati has the inside track and LSU playing catch-up.

I’m telling y’all its gunna be an epic melt when he chooses Cincy and all we really learned after this ordeal is the coaches don’t think we have a good option at quarterback

He was replaced bc he got hurt right? And what is so good about Ehlinger? Honest question. Looking at his stats (11 tds 7 ints) isn't overly impressive in the big 12 no less.

I think Burrows would be a huge upgrade...for all 3 teams

LSU's potential, facilities, women, chances for the NFL >> Cincy

Seriously, Etling is on with The Patriot's right now.

Burrow has to be saying i'm better than that.

Fickell coached at OSU, it’s safe to say LSU has had to make up ground from the moment they requested permission to talk to him.

And That’s why he’s hosting a grad transfer QB this weekend ? Because he met all LSU’s needs in the recruiting class?

This is a fair point. That said, I was pretty upset on signing day, but it's foolish to judge O's recruiting ability based on this class alone. Everyone knows he's a solid recruiter. Tactician? No. But this kinda thing (Burrow visit) is in O's wheel house.

I mean look at that schedule. Why TF would you want to play football there over LSU? We have a doofus for a coach but that should be a no brainer even if it's his home state.
