Section 215
Excellent choice. I'm in 216 and love it there. One of LSU's most die-hard fans, Big Ragoo, sits in 215. Band, locker room tunnel, cheerleaders, student section, close-up view of team warm-ups and visiting recruits, and pre-game GBFTL marching right at you are all benefits of NEZ seats. Enjoy!

Would love to know what the "must see and do's" are, starting friday evening. Where should we go to get "gear" friday night?
What do we do on Saturday before and after the game?
Looking on Stub Hub, lots of seats. Where should we sit?
I'll go in order of your posts.
I'm not from Baton Rouge, I'm from a town a couple hours west of it. So I can't really say what are the "must do's" although most of it should center around football. You can find LSU stuff everywhere. There's a sporting goods store you should check out called Academy. They sometimes have some really cool stuff. If you want to beat the crowd, when you get in, if it's not too late in the day on Friday, go to the bookstore on the LSU campus. You'll get your fill on stuff there. Saturday the place will be packed with people. Not sure what time they close on Friday though.
If I were you, I would sit in the north end zone, not far from the student section. That's where I sit and I absolutely love it. The band is also right there.
Some people will say sit in the south end zone, it's not as crazy, etc.
I'm one of the crazy's so I sit among my own. And DON'T sit way up high in either one of the upper decks. I did that one time and will never do it again.
The north end zone is the stuff.
Before the game, just walk around. You'll see canopies all over the place set up. People will be cooking. Just walk up and ask them what are they cooking. They'll give you some. And since it'll be against Florida don't be surprised if you see alligators being roasted on a spit over some charcoal, like a pig would be. (Yes, I'm being serious.) People will also have tv's set up at their tailgating spots for the other games in the afternoon.
And go by and see Mike! You have to do that.
And don't wear anything that's blue and orange! (I mean, not Florida's blue and orange. UVA's blue is different.)

UVA and Charlottesville are both outstanding!
I'm an LSU alum but really enjoyed my college visit to UVA. It seemed like a special place in its own way, far different from LSU.
For Friday, Chimes is always a good call. It's on the border of campus and serves up solid Louisiana dishes. Sammy's, Chelseas, and TJ Ribs are all solid choices as well. Sammy's is south of campus on Highland Rd and a drive down Highland from campus shows a beautiful part of Baton Rouge.
Walk-Ons is the LSU sports bar right by the stadium. The food is on par for sports bar food and on gameday weekends, the atmosphere is great.
If you eat near campus on Friday it's not a bad idea to take a stroll around campus while it's empty and quiet so you know where you are come Saturday.
On Saturday, get there in the morning. I like parking at Lod Cook alumni center which is on the LSU lakes. It's somewhat of a trek to the stadium, but it's a nice walk from Sorority and Fraternity houses where you get a nice glimpse of the coeds in sundresses before coming upon the Parade Grounds, where there is plenty of tailgating. From there, you can explore the rest of campus and find some new found Louisiana friends. Follow your nose and find a group (probably over 30 crowd) that seems friendly. The RV lot might be a good bet for this but you can find friendly tailgaters anywhere.
Buy some LSU garb at the Student Union or Co-Op bookstore which is near Walk-Ons. Wearing a UVA hat or shirt isn't a bad idea either so tailgaters know that you're an outsider looking for a good time.
Lastly, go to the Journalism building to see the band come down the hill before the game. It's a pretty neat experience.
Have a great time! I hope it's a memorable experience and one that makes you appreciate the people of LSU and Louisiana!

PROBLEM-----UVA colors are Orange and Blue. Many have suggested to wear our colors and LSU colors. I don't wanna get pissed on! What to do?

ha! I realized that right after I submitted it. You'd be fine with your school colors. Florida's blue is lighter than UVA's.
I saw a guy with an SC (southern cal) hat on walking around and nothing happened to that dude. Although it should've.
You won't get pissed on. Just don't wear anything that says UF. If in doubt wear a light colored shirt and a UVA hat or something.
But..... you'd make a lot of friends if you wore LSU stuff.
Also: glad that other poster brought up watching the band come down the hill. You have to see that. You'll see the line of people forming, trust me. The players come down the hill about 15 mins prior to the band. Usually about an hour and half prior to game time.

It's at the top of the "hill" - just a general landmark you can ask any LSU grad for. The hill is hardly a hill, but it's all we got in LA

If you want to wear all UVA, that's totally cool. If you want to sport purple and gold, that's obviously fine too. I'd suggest some LSU stuff plus a UVA hat. LSU fans assume other LSU fans have their own tailgate so they won't openly invite each other to their tailgates. If you show that you're an outsider, you're guaranteed some hospitality.

Isn't your blue more of a navy blue? People will see the crossed swords and know that's not Florida. Some people may not know what it is but they'll know it's not UF.
Florida's is more of a lighter, standard blue color.
Like I said, just wear a short sleeve, button up shirt with a UVA hat if in doubt.
Honestly, man..... I really don't think people will mess with you.

If you want to be if the mot fun area seatin wise, be somewhere on the north endzone side. It's next to the student section and band. We students are loud and somewhat crazy, but it's amazing. If you'd like you can come down and take pictures with the "Painted Posse". We will be on the front row of the students section.

Whatever you do, don't wear a t-shirt. This is SEC football.

I don't follow you with this. I see t shirts at every game. Most on people.

Just because people wear jerseys, doesn't mean they should. A vast majority of people wear polos.

Lol...for real. My guys and I are the only ones without a shirt on in that stadium (plus a few poser wanna paintees)

Did you mean jerseys or t shirts? I usually wear either a t shirt or a dry fit polo.
Never worn a jersey though. I didn't tell that guy to wear a jersey. I said a button up shirt with his UVA hat.
