Night games can be even more insane if you can beleive that. I read stuff on here based on rumors about how we treat fans. I am highly biased and predjudiced, but I have been to a few rivals stadia and Atlanta several times, and we treat the opposition much better in my mind than they sometimes treat us. If you stop and talk to some tailgaters, you could probably spend the entire pre-game time there eating and drinking and talking football or our second favorite spectator sport, Louisiana and national politicis.

Night games give people a chance to get in early, set up a big flat screen, a cast iron pot for gumbo or jambalya, a small bar with every imaginable alcoholic liquid known to man, and have a good time. Come back.

Must make a night game. I actually thought that is was one of the most quiet games (especially against FL)that I have seen.

The only problem this weekend was getting my 15 year old on the plane to come home. The sights kept his head on a swivel and he fell in love (many times over).

I saw y'all in the stadium at a distance. Like you said, LSU football is more than a game, it's a special EVENT. For a day game, the atmosphere was pretty good but as I'm sure you could tell, once the Tigers had the game in hand the crowd intensity steadily decreased. Imagine the first half of the first quarter crowd intensity for the entire game - that is what Tiger Stadium is like for a closely competitive night game.

If you can get some tickets to the 2012 Alabama game next November, I would highly recommend it. That will be an epic matchup.

I have a 15 year old also and I know what you mean. The eye-candy was very appealing as it always is.

How'd you like the first 2 touchdowns right in front of you "on the U" (of the LSU painted in the end zone) as we say in our section?

Glad you enjoyed it.

It was great meeting you and your son. I am very happy you guys had a great time. I think it is a pretty cool father/son tradition to start. See you next time.

Well you've got about 3 years to save up for that out of state tuition! But of course I'm sure if your kid can get into UVA then he'd get plenty of scholarships should LSU be an option at all.

15 was around the same age my Dad brought me to my first LSU home game. My head was on a swivel as well and and from that day forward I knew I was going to LSU. Greatest 4 years and miss the hell out of it. If your son isn't smart enough for UVA send him down to LSU!

Had a group of guys from Manhattan tailgaiting with us. One of them was here for the Bama game last year and loved it. Decided to come back and bring 5 of his wall-street buds with him. They sat in the Florida section in all LSU gear

It was great meeting you and your son! He's a very nice young man. My dad and I still talk about how the game must've been for y'all.
So how many times did your son watch the video he took of the band and the players on your flight back?
Catch you at your next game here!

On TV the day games seem like a scrimmage when LSU is up big.

Night games that are very competitive against top ranked team, nothing like TS at night

Bayou, I think without question, we were the only 2 wahoos there. Several people stopped us and spoke of friends or family that either went to or go to UVA though

Butt, but, we are the rudest, crudest fans in football ever according to some people. Thanks for the compliment, and I am one that wishes that the academic standards met TJs mark.
