The only place I’d recommend Off Strip would be Tuscany Casino and Suites, Red Rock, Suncoast, M, Durango and Silverton. Also heard good things about South Point.

I stayed at Tuscanny last year- I was not impressed. Rooms were big though.

Can anyone recommend the best sportsbook on the strip

I would say the best sports book isn't actually on the Strip, but it isn't far from it. The Westgate Sportsbook is my favorite.

As for Fremont Street, you just have to know how to Fremont. I love it, actually, but it is definitely seedier than the Strip. As mentioned, the gambling is just better. I've had several "wait, when did the sun come up?" nights at the craps tables there, usually at the 4Qs.

Someone mentioned Absinthe, would recommend. Expensive, but it's fantastic. The Cosmo has a lot going on and they have a happy hour.

Someone also mentioned Mon Ami Gabi. Love that place, it's actually reasonable and if it isn't hot as balls you can sit outside and watch the Bellagio fountain

You wouldn't recommend the Cannery?

Never been to the Cannery so I can't say one way or the other. Was there something wrong with the ones I mentioned? I'm just curious.

No, the cannery is rough. The machines are severely old along with the cocktail waitresses. It is nostalgic to have to put the coin in the machine and pull the lever to gamble though

I didn't really care for most places on Fremont when I went last time. However, I will say we played some craps a long time at Circa! That is a pretty nice place if hanging out in that area.

Just got back a couple weeks ago. Din Tai Fung is amazing. Going back for the game and also have reservations at Hell’s Kitchen. Vegas is expensive and everyone should expect that. We always stay at Bellagio and walk to the Cosmopolitan next door for amazing pizza. Ever been to the no name pizza place there?

I like the blackjack tables at Golden Gate Casino, Circa, and the D, with the dancing dealers.

it's been so long(27+ years) since I've been in Vegas I have no idea what kids of events to hit up.

I've heard Carrot Top is unironically a really great show

Go take a boat ride in the canal inside the Venetian hotel and dine at the Asian fusion restaurant.
